Cavett Leather Chair
Relax back to another modern time. The mid-century lines of this swank leather chair capture all that was great about '50s design. Luxe full-grain, full-aniline leather cushions in a saturated dark brown beckon at a slight recline on a richly grained American walnut frame with dramatic streamlined angles, a cantilevered seat and a vertical slat back. Each chair is distinguished by the unique characteristics of its beautiful leather, finished with oils and wax for an authentic look that will develop an even richer patina over time. Great Modern Chair
"We looked around for a modern chair for our living room for quite a while and kept going back to the Cavett chair. We are happy we decided to purchase the chair and ottoman. The design is sleek and classic, the leather and wood materials are very high quality, and the chair is very comfortable. Great investment piece."

I love my chair
"When I first eyed this chair on the internet I knew I had to have it. It was several months before I could get to the store to see it in person & I couldn't leave without ordering it. I got it in amaretto & it looks so sleek & elegant in my living room - I only wish I had ordered the ottoman, but that will be my next purchase. I can't be any happier with my chair & highly recommend it!"

Great chair - leather is a bit sensitive!
"We bought this chair for our living room and overall have been extremely pleased. The chair itself is extremely comfortable, durable and modern looking. The only thing I will say is that the leather seems a bit more "sensitive" to scratches than other leather I've purchased in the past. The experience with ordering in store and picking up at the warehouse was extremely positive. I would recommend this chair to anyone with a modern aesthetic who is on a bit of a more restrictive budget."

Today's Mid-Mod
"My wife and I wanted this chair the first time we saw it. We bought the chair and ottoman in Sumatra leather. We eyed it for a year hoping to catch it on sale but ended up taking advantage of a C&B credit card discount.
We bought the chair and ottoman for the living room in our mid-century ranch opposite a white sofa we also bought from C&B the year before. We shopped thrift stores looking for mid-mod furniture but couldn't justify the inflated prices for used furniture. We had no hesitation investing in a great new chair.
When the chair was delivered we found the grain in the wood to be more beautiful than we remembered in the showroom. It is stunning. The quality of construction, styling, and comfort of this chair can't be beat - and my wife and I shopped every furniture store in Denver.
I highly recommend this chair (and our sofa)."

Awesome Chair

"The design of this chair speaks for itself. Our furniture is all mid-century modern in style and C&B is one of the few online furniture retailers that has a decent selection of this style. The build quality and material quality are both stellar. Very comfortable, I was surprised by how firm and supportive it is. Nowadays you sink pretty far into the cheap living room seating so many other retailers are making. Had to get the matching ottoman, very nice, don't regret it. Our leather choice was the smoke color, and paired with the natural walnut it works great with our palate of grays, whites and natural wood. Their darker leathers are hard to distinguish from black in their studio lit photos, but they can send you free swatches. I recommend having them send you all the swatches for the product you're interested in. Seeing them in person and at your home you may like one best that you didn't online, as was our case with two different C&B Pieces. Took the entire three month estimate, which they gave us up front, but was apparently featured in a magazine just before we purchased it, so that probably played a role. A prior, larger online C&B purchase with the same three month estimate was at our home in 6 weeks, but keep in mind we live 300 miles from the nearest C&B and 1000 miles from where they make their furniture. So your wait will likely vary. Bottom line, all the furniture we've ordered from C&B has been worth the wait and our apartment wouldn't be the same without this amazing chair."

A work of art
"I saw this chair in the local Crate and Barrel store and immediately fell in love. It was well worth the purchase. Everyone who sees it stops to look, and it's extremely comfortable. The wood is ever more beautiful than the leather. It's small so it's easy to position in a room. I got the ottoman as well, which makes the chair even more comfortable for lazy weekends."

Comfortable mid century chair
"The first time I saw this chair I loved it. It reminds me of a pair of chairs that my grandfather made in the fifties in the same style. The scale is good , has a low profile and is relaxing to sit in for reading and tv watching. I hope to have this for decades and enjoy the patina as it evolves in the leather."

Beautiful chair!
"This chair is very beautifuy with sleek clean lines, and very comfortable. We ordered both the ottoman and chair but had to return the ottoman upon delivery due to scratches in the leather. C&B immediately sent another one in perfect condition. It's great that it was made in the USA. Saw it featured in a Wall Street Journal article after we bought it, highlighting U.S. made products with sleek moderns lines. Very happy with this purchase."
