fun fun fun!
"I remembered making these as a kid and wanted my kids to have the experience last Christmas, so I was thrilled to find this on C&B. My only warning would be to find a sugar cookie recipe that doesn't lose it's shape...I tried to save time and used store-bought dough, which resulted in a lot of spread. You want people to see the star shape easily, and mine were more like a rounded flower shape in the end. Still cute, and still a great product we'll use ever year."

Great Idea . . . Execution: Not so Good!
"I bought this at full price for the "little kids" to have a craft to work on while the adults enjoyed the holiday spirits! It is a super cute idea. But, it would be nice if the packaging included a sugar cookie recipe that would actually work best with the cutters. Package states: Use your "favorite" cookie recipe. We tried two different recipes and both puffed up and the stars were too puffy to actually pull off the tree effect. Don't know that these won't sit in the cupboard now for years and then make it to a garage sale pile. Kind of a disappointment!"

Shining Star!
"Love, love, love! Made Christmas trees out of the star stacks for all of our neighbors and a party our family attended. Kiddos drizzled iced and added edible ornaments. We have started a new family tradition! After Christmas, purchased two more sets as gifts. Wish I could add the picture!"

"I made the cookie tree for Thanksgiving and it was a big hit with both kids and adults. In fact, it was my grown-up son who couldn't resist the first bite!
I only had 1/2 the amount of powdered sugar, so I made 1/2 the icing and I still had a bit left over, so I would advice cutting the icing in half."

"I saw this item last year and was not quick enough to purchase them before they sold out! I love these cookie cutter trees and find that they are a great conversation piece on the holiday table.
