Phoenix 72 Work Table
Handcrafted from reclaimed telephone poles, the incredible character of these unique tables stems from true distressing by time and nature. The essential beauty is in the imperfections, from knots and drill holes to splits and gouges. Finished with a wing-like beveled edge in a nod to the name, the rustic top rises from a distinctive black iron base that's angled just so. Two perpendicular iron plates carry the line of the legs through the tabletop. Table is finished with sanded edges and a clear sealer and lacquer. Versatile work-surface size doubles as a small dining table. -Top made from reclaimed telephone poles -Black iron plates and legs -Clear sealer and lacquer finish -Seats four as a dining table -Made in Mexico

awesome desk
"Looking for a new desk and this one has tons of character. Looks awesome in just about any room. The boards are pretty uneven, but not so much that you can't use a keyboard or laptop. Looks like some mortar between the boards to keep things as flat as possible. Lots of holes that add character and let you run a few USB/small cables. Could be about 1-2" higher for me - my chair arms don't clear the desk when I'm not in my chair. Great deal - absolutely makes a room."

A Beautiful Table
"I bought this table 2 years ago. I went to Crate and Barrel for 2 cappuccino cups, a very small purchase and was satisfied.
Then, upon taking the escalator to the 2nd floor in the Burlington MA store, my eyes saw what I had been looking for all along for my work station. I had a room in my home that I had no idea what to do with and when I saw this table, I knew exactly what I wanted in it!! I have decorated it tastefully with artifacts from Crate and Barrel and it does look wonderful
I also purchased the wonderful book ends that Crate and Barrel had tastefully placed on the table at the store. The book ends look like two big black slinkies and go wonderfully matching the black Iron on the table.
I now refer to the room as my "productivity room" and am very productive sitting at that beautiful table!!"

Wonderful table
"I bought this as a table for the banquette in my new kitchen. It is outstanding. When people come over they always think I had it custom made for the kitchen. I have a traditional Queen Anne dining room set, and wanted something more casual for the kitchen. Delivery was super quick and very professional. Would recommend this for any one."

love this table
"Beautiful table. Just as expected with variation - no two are exactly alike, but similar.
Caution: Defnitely not designed to take a lot of abuse. Legs are fastened to top with short screws in a glued on block. Easily fixed if a problem comes up, but better to use it moderately."

Very nice computer desk
"I've purchased the table as my home workplace, it holds an iMac 27", a 11" Air, a SnapScan and all the paper work.
The table is great, I love the wood quality and with the iron foots it's really stable. But the best feature are - and I wasn't aware of that prior the purchase - all the holes drilled into the table. They are perfect intakes for all the USB & power cabling, taking that off and under the table.
Nice product, highly recommended!"

Love @ first sight
"When I saw this table at my local store I fell for it instantly. I knew it was a must for our new home, was only a matter of where. So I put off the decision & focused on finding a dining room table first, which needed up being a rather frustrating process. After extensive research & unsuccessful shopping, I had the idea of the Phoenix table as a dining table. We are a family of four & I thought it would be perfect for intimate daily meals, function and fashion! & then I had the idea of 2 Phoenix tables, one as the table & one as a server, functioning separately, with the option to be pushed together for accommodating guests! All dining problems solved! Couldn't be happier with my purchase. The tables are stunning, I get nothing but compliments. I have hosted casual & elegant meals from 2-10 guests, so far with ease & style. We paired with Lyle side chair & copper cafe chairs I purchased from anthropologie. My everyday setting are gold placements, & seasonal pieces at each metal bar.
My experience with crate & barrel was excellent. Our local associate was extremely helpful, & ensured our satisfaction with our purchase. Delivery was fast & the crew was very professional."

Nice Piece with Only a Couple of Complaints
"This desk looks and functions as advertised. It is very nice looking in that rustic way and very functional as table desk. My only significant complaint is that I find the legs are slightly too close together, so that when I swivel a little bit in my desk chair, my knee bangs against the leg, and it really hurts. If it were up to me, I would push the legs out another inch or so on each side, for more leg room. Also I think the length vs width is slightly out of proportion. It would be perfect if it were 32" or 33" in depth, given that it is 6 feet wide. But overall i like it a lot."

Wonderful Piece of Furniture
"This arrived today at our place in Portland. What a beautiful piece of furniture - more like a statement than a table, but heck that's why we like it - and super practical too. any damage you may happen to do would just make it more stunning We're using it as a small dining table accompanied by 4 Lyle Side Chairs. Cant wait to serve dinner on it."
