Perfect Tongs
"I needed a set of tongs which were handy for many different uses. These tongs are durable, strong, wash well, and are very nicely designed for a comfortable grip. My favorite feature is the sliding lock which keeps the tongs compact and easy to store!"

Constantly used in my house
"These are one of two go-to pairs of tongs in my utensil drawer, invaluable because of the locking mechanism and their non-scratching tips. I can use them to cook a piece of meat in a pan and keep using them to deglaze that same pan. We've even used them on the grill with no ill effects."

Great Grabbers
"These tongs are awesome. I love the silicone tips which won't destroy my food (unlike the non-coated tongs which can dig into tender foods). The tongs are easy to use one-handed, with a simple push/pull design for unlocking/locking the spring mechanism. I've used these tongs several times, washing them both by hand and in the dishwasher and they have not shown any signs of rust or damage. I would buy these again and again. I recommend having a 9" and 12", as both are useful when preparing different foods."

An essential kitchen tool
"As far as I'm concerned you can't have too many of these tongs. The OXO product is well made and sturdy. I use them to toss a salad, blend pasta dishes, cook meat, chicken and fish, and serve all types of food. I commonly have 3-4 dishes going at once, each with these tongs as my cooking utensil.

Essential kitchen tool
"This is one of the most useful kitchen tools I own. Great for flipping and serving almost anything--from a big fillet of fish to bundles of asparagus and small chunks of anything. I also use it to drain pasta (works with long, strandy pasta shapes). It is quicker, more practical than a colander (easier to clean too), and it leaves the pasta just a little moist with cooking water, which helps the sauce adhere.
I've owned other tongs before, but these are by far the most ergonomic and efficient. I've had mine for a long time, use it all the time, and it's still in tip-top shape."

Best kitchen tool!
"These tongs are an absolute must have for every kitchen. They do a number of jobs, from turning meat in your frying pan, tossing a salad, or even fishing whatever piece of food I dropped off the bottom of my hot oven. I love that the tips do not scratch my pans as well."

"These tongs are jsut ok for me. I like the nylon grips. They are heat resistant and soft. It is easy to clean, but what I don't like is that the tongs don't spread out enough. It's a little harder to toss salads with these."

"These tongs are great and worth the spend. We use them on our BBQ, on our Calphalon pots and pans and just about anything else! The lock feature is very nice and I can even place them in my dishwasher for a good clean. LOVE these...we even have the larger size too."

Excellent Tongs
"I wish I had more of these. Universally useful. Easy to clean; dependable. Good heft. Only thing I wish it had was an easier way to adjust the width - it seems to either be very wide or narrow, without ability to finely adjust the width of the tongs. I trust the OXO brand."
