My Go-to dinner bowl
"My most frequent dinner choices are eaten from bowls and I have collected a lot of bowls from a lot of sources.
I must have passed the Akemi a dozen times and thought it was very ordinary, but I bought two and learned how great they are.
The bowls are lightweight but sturdy, and beautifully shaped. They are great for Japanese or Korean rice dishes, but perfectly suitable for pasta or other dishes. They're just wide enough to give access to the contents at every level from top to bottom, but the walls are high enough to give your fork or chop sticks leverage.
Despite all the bowls I own, ever since buying the Akemi it has been my go-to bowl,"

Functional art on the dinner table...
"The beautiful, subtle design of the serving pieces add a little elegance to nightly dinners. With kids and a husband who are focused on what's to eat, not how it's presented, I appreciate the functionality (microwavable) and ease of care (dishwasher safe) along with the visual pleasure of the presentation. The design works easily with formal dishes as well."

Just right!
"My husband and I have been searching for Pho noodle soup bowls for a very long time. Like Goldilocks, we had only found bowls that are too big or too little- these bowls are just right! They are perfect for Pho soup and also serving vegetables and rice. We use the bowls at least once a week and they look so pretty on the table! I hope C&B starts making them in the pretty green color!"
