Not the best design
"The egg poacher would be better if the egg holders had holes to allow the eggs to cook through more evenly. I previously had an egg poacher pan with egg holders designed like this and the eggs were poached consistently through."

Makes perfect poached eggs
"This is a great purchase -- eggs come out perfectly poached, just make sure to add a bit of oil or butter into each cup so they slide out nicely as well. Easy to use, good directions and handsome product. Definitely recommend it!"

favorite kitchen "gadget"
"I have my fair share of gadgets and gizmo's in the kitchen. Many stay in the drawer after one use--- -this is not one of them. This gets used all the time. I LOVE MY POACH PAN!!
We put a drop of olive oil in the well (not as much for nonstick but flavor) fill with water til just under the "cups" bring to a boil, turn down to med, add the egg in each cup and cook to desired doneness, my perfect time is 3:15
I've recommended to many and this is one of my fav bridal shower gifts, even if they haven't registered for it!!1"

Makes easy work of poaching
"I got this pan for one thing, and one thing only: eggs benedict. I love this breakfast / brunch classic, and poaching eggs, while isn't hard, can be tedious.
This pan makes quick & clean work of poaching up to 4 eggs at a time -- they come out perfectly round, ready to go on top of my english muffin & ham.
Contrary to a previous review, there is nothing complicated about how to use this pan. I don't think it warrants an instruction manual. Just put water in the pan, and crack the eggs into the egg cups. Cook to your preferred doneness (4-8 mins) & enjoy.
It's a tad pricey for a fairly simple pan, especially given that you can poach eggs the old-fashioned way; however the amount of use I get out of it makes it worthwhile."

Where are the instructions?
"I bought this for my husband for Christmas, we've been talking about making poached eggs for years. Was excited to try it, but there are no directions on how to use it. I've been looking all over the website trying to find the directions. I'm worried that we are never going to be able to figure it out."

Egg poacher pot
"makes poaching much easier, but knobs for lifting eggs out are very small & get very hot. Pot's stainless steel handle also tends to get too hot to handle without protection."

Good but room for Improvement
"I realy enjoy the cooking performance overall of this product. It works perfectly for making our own egg/ muffin sandwiches. The handle stays cool, however if I were to have any complaints, it would be the glass lid. It obviously gets very hot during cooking, the nob is difficult to handle with a pot holder. The way the lid fits on the pan could use improvement, no matter what methods I tried to adjust, it spatters water all over the stove top and burners."

Works like a dream
"My mother had something similar many years ago -- and, after looking at several updated versions, I decided on this one (the price was right). Although it did not come with directions/instructions/recipes, I did some on-line research and found some directions on a website that sells a similar product. Following those directions (very easy) with this egg poacher, I have made poached eggs like a champ every time."

Instructions would have been helpful
"I enjoy poached eggs and wanted to be able to make them at home, but my attempts at the Julia Child method were all disasters. I was given this set as a gift. It came with no instructions or even helpful hints, so I've been using a trial and error approach. Even though the cups look to be nonstick I find it's helpful to use a little cooking spray. My eggs have been improving, but they're not perfect yet. I'm sure I'll get there, but, again, some directions would have been helpful."
