glass food storage
"I bought several of these containers in all three sizes and am so pleased with all of them. The silicone edge covers go on and off easily and work well in the dishwasher. They also protect the edges from chips if banged accidentally. I like the way they nest in the cabinet making them space efficient. Most of all I like the fact they are glass and not plastic. It feels healthier to me. My husband cooks and he can be fussy about kitchen items. He now prefers these over our other storage containers."

Special memories
"Had to have these as soon as I saw them! All I could think of was my grandma's spiced apples and goulash. Every time anyone was sick she would fix us wonderful meals and bring them to us in her glass containers. They are heavy glass storage containers and transition from refrigerator to microwave or oven easily. They also look great on the table as a serving dish. I smile every time I open the fridge for the memories they bring!"

See-saw satisfaction
"The item is as advertised, however the wife didn't seem too happy with the seal. Time will tell after she uses it. Definately will not store any thing for an extended period, as scared as to freshness"

Liked the Ones Without Silicone Better
"I'm SO GLAD I purchased a lot of the earlier version of this which is all glass! They are amazing - they go from the oven to serving to fridge. The glass lids are perfect. I was looking these up, thinking of adding to my collection. Oh no!!!! I wonder if the silicone part slides off and if the rest is the same...will have to check it out!"

Love these!
"I am ever so fond of these fridge storage containers! They are all I've used for the past 7 or 8 years to store food in the fridge. The silicone edges are new, and I did buy one to test it out, but I am happy with the containers without the silicone. Safe, stackable, sturdy, microwaveable, attractive. A perfect kitchen item. I hope they are always available."

Not so good
"Didn't like the containers at all--the lids don't seal, so food smells don't get contained. Can't tilt the container without fluid leaking out (problem for in and out of a frig). Also the silicone rings were split and dirty--didn't seem to be able to get clean from dirty finger tips (maybe from packing). I got multiple sizes--and will return them all."

"I love these. I bought one 12 cup and two 2 cup containers. The ones I bought have glass lids, which I also love. I'm done with plastic storage for health reasons so these were just what I needed. Now it's so easy to store, refrigerate and reheat in the same container. I plan to buy more."

retro look, modern function
"I have a half dozen of the smallest size. I use one every day. I can see why someone lobbied for the silicone. without it, glass on glass, the lid slides a bit. it took some getting used to, but without the silicone, I'm just more gentle and cautious about stacking them. they are so attractive and retro they make me smile each time I pull one out of the cabinet. I started with one and came back for more, so I highly recommend these."

Nice glass storage
"I bought the 12 cup refrigerator storage container to go with the smaller glass containers in the set that I bought last year. Since then a silicon seal has been added, but this can be removed if desired. The glass lid has a nice glass grip in the center making it simple to remove the top. The ribing in the glass also makes these containers attractive for serving. If you want to get away from plastic containers for refrigerated storage, these are the ones to buy."

"I was concerned about the silicone bands around the lid, but they are easily removed. I just got rid of them and use the dish without. It is a perfect storage container in line with the ones my grandma used when I was a child in the 50s. No plastic! And no silicone. Safe storage, easily cleanable. A bit heavy, but o.k. I have all three sizes. The middle one is my favorite because it seems the perfect size for my usual amount of leftovers. The largest of the sizes is almost always larger than I need, although it would make a good serving dish for a salad that you might want to store later."

"I purchased the glass storage containers with glass lids several years ago. I use them occasionally, both for storage and for cooking and serving. Great problem solver!
"It makes such a difference in the storage capacity of my refrigerator it is incredible. I love that these are glass because I got rid of all of my plastic storage long ago. The size and shape of these containers takes advantage of every centimeter in your refrigerator and makes for neat and organized storage when not in use. I recommend them to any and all!!!!!!!"
