An Italian Cooking Essential from famed chef and restaurateur Mario Batali, in exclusive red. Enameled cast iron pieces ensure exceptional heat retention and even heating without hot spots. Clean in the dishwasher, with Bar Keepers Friend or baking soda as described below. -Cast iron with enamel coating -Oven-safe to 475 degrees -For use with traditional gas and electric, or ceramic (up to medium heat only) and induction cooktops -Dishwasher-safe; clean with Bar Keepers Friend; or for stains and more thorough cleaning: pour 1/2 cup of baking soda into a small bowl. Gradually add small amounts of water to the baking soda, mixing until a paste is formed. Apply the paste to the enamel cast iron cookware and allow to soak for one hour. Use a cellulose sponge to gently scrub the stain from the cookware. -Made in China

Great Item...
"I bought this Mario Batali Lasagna pan to go with my Mario Batali Dutch Oven that I had purchased last year. The pan works great and it is oversized so it makes it much easier to make a large Lasagana or Casserole. The quality is great!"

Wonderful piece!

Great dish
"This is a seriously sturdy (heavy) pan that will do the trick when you need to roast or sear chicken. I have yet to use it for lasagna but my roasted chicken came out great. The cast iron holds heat really well, and makes for nice juicy meat.
I hand washed it, and it cleaned really easily. The red color is vibrant and a lot of fun."

Love This
"I got this in the polenta color, I'm super sad that color was discontinued because there is one more from the set I'm missing.
This dish is very heavy, but it's large and has deep side and is great because when making lasagna or other cassaroles juices won't spill over in your oven."

Cooks well, may chip
"Just made lasagna in it the other night, and it cooks very evenly as cast iron should. However, mine has chipped slightly, but that's not really an issue since I have it in white."

Great Roaster
"It is very heavy and can be hard to lift when full, but it heats very evenly. I cook a varied of food in it, dips, baked ziti, lasagna, casseroles... It holds a lot and is dip. I have the smaller version too. I love the color!"

"This baker was received as a bridal shower present, and we both absolutely love it! While it is a heavier dish, it cooks everything beautifully. We've used it for anything from lasagna, to baked ziti, to meats. One of my favorite features is it cleans so easily. No hard scrubbing needed! Even for baked on messes."
