Beautiful Design, Amazing Price, Difficult to Use!
"I bought this because I spent about 2 weeks searching online for an all-white modern planter, and found NOTHING available that was modern, or affordable. This is both, and is absolutely beautiful. It looks EXACTLY how I wanted it to look, and is well made, BUT, you can't water this and not make a mess, because you will have no clue at all how much water you've let drain into the base until it overflows all over the place. I planted a bonsai in it, which you must ONLY water from the base, and to do so takes two people; one to hold up the plant and one to put the water in. If you put the plant aside while filling the base, you make a mess. If you fill it from the top and it overflows, you make a mess.
Had they simply put a thumb size lip on the "back", then you'd be able to see how much water is in the base."

Beautiful pot
"I love this pot. I have both shapes, and they are great accents in the home. They function well too. The first one I bought was teetering a little because the fit was not prfectly flush with the lower portion, and they sent me a new one fast!
The double-walled construction is especially good for sensitive plants, when it's in a spot where the temperature might fluctuate a lot, like in front of a window or by the heater. Keeps the temperature of the feeder roots, which tend to clutch to the inside of their pot, steady. The lower portion of the pot catches any overflow water and does not drip on surface below.
Great 20 bucks."

wrecked my table! stay away!
"I bought several of these pots and used them on a favorite wooden table. Unfortunately, after a few months the bottom base that holds the water developed crazing-type cracks which meant a very slow leak on my table that wrecked the finish. I thought maybe the cracks were caused by a bang that I was unaware of, but it has just happened a second time on another pot, so it is clearly a manufacturing defect.
They are pretty, but also badly designed in that they hold very little soil, and ironically for their large size, also very little water that you can't see, so it is also very easy to overflow while watering."

"I bought one of each size and I love them so much that I just purchased a 2nd set. I can't seem to find anything like these anywhere else! I love the contemporary style and my succulents look great in them.

Pretty pot (Really pretty pot)
"Right now, these guys are outside. The sun sterilizes my plants, killing the insects that might otherwise infest them.
In a few weeks, they'll all come inside. By early spring, they'll be in a desperate need for another trip into the sun.
I'll miss them when they go back outside, because these are simply drop-dead gorgeous pots.

"Love these pots! Agree that they are a bit big for their capacity but they are sleek and well-designed - a great addition to my home. I searched for a long time to find pots I like with drainage! "Ok, I used to have a collection of different Chinese-style cachepots. I thought they looked eclectic, but in retrospect, I think they just looked random.
I re-potted all of my plants into these Halo pot/saucers, and they look stunning. Of the two, the round ones are frankly prettier, but the straight-sided ones are deeper. Choose accordingly, depending on your plants.
The saucers are nice and deep - no more water overflows."

"I ordered this pot as a gift and when it was opened, it was broken. It was packed carefully but it broke. I called customer service and they were very nice and replaced the pot promptly.

Quality Piece
"This is a nice, contemporary piece with a good size drainage tray hidden in the bottom. It's heavy and has a really nice finish to it. I'm using it indoors so I can't really comment on its outdoor durability, but I'd think it would be totally fine.
Last thing - It's not a "bright" white like I was expecting, but it is a true white color (as opposed to off white or ivory) so it still matches my decor."

"As someone who enjoys living plants in the house - it is not always easy to find a well designed planter for houseplants that doesn't look like something from a craft fair... this planter is contemporary, clean, and fits well with our decor (we are in a mid-century modern).
