Fun tool for the kitchen
"I bought this pitter at the Crate and Barrel store just in time for cherry season. It is the perfect tool to de-pit cherries for pies & fruit salads! I love this and have picked a few extra up for stocking suffers!"

a bowl of cherries!
"I was sitting at work, when I heard my neighbor complain, Oh I love these cherries but I just hate nibbling around the pits - does anybody know of an easy way to get rid of them? I wheeled around and spouted, OMG yes, Crate&Barrel has a cherry pitter and I just got one! They are the best. I can pit a whole bowl of cherries in no time and then sit down and indulge. They really do taste so much better when you can pop a whole cherry in your mouth and not worry about the pit. And I suppose it would be good for entertaining too! :O)"

Excellent purchase that gets the job done!
"I love cherries and olives to a fault, so this pitter was a natural purchase for me. I bought two pounds of cherries to make homeade cherry limeade and the pitter removed the pits with ease. Expect some splatter, especially if your cherries are on the juicy side. The Crate & Barrell Cherry/Olive pitter leaves a clean and even interior behind, so stuffing cherries and olives for your parties will make you look like a superstar. Buy this product - you will not be sorry!"

"I had four pounds of cherries to pit and this gadget made it easy. There was a little bit of splatter. I would suggest wearing an old shirt and pitting the cherries in a large bowl. Definitely worth the money."

sprays juice
"I used this to as a cherry pitter and it removes the pits well plus it's easy to clean. My only complaint is that it sprayed cherry juice all over. I ended up leaning it into the trash can but I still got juice on my pants. I would recommend buying one that has a juice shield for a few extra bucks."

Handy tool
"I just used this to pit a couple pounds of cherries this evening - very easy to use! I snacked on a few cherries while pitting and enjoyed the ease of eating them without having to spit the seed out. Very cool!"
