"I bought the three bamboo poles to place into my large olive jar, also from Crate and Barrel. The fit is perfect. These poles are exactly that... huge, sturdy, poles!
The size of the poles and the size of the jar are a perfect proportion. The combination is bold and has great presence. Make sure you note the width of these bamboo poles- if you are planning on putting them inside of a jar/pot. The opening of this jar is 10.5". Two poles each measured 3" wide and one pole measures 4"."

"I bought a huge pot and wanted some large bamboo to stand in it. These are perfect. The pot I have is 39" tall and the opening is 12" in diameter. I used 6 poles and added packing paper in the bottom of the pot so the poles were taller (about 87" high) since I have 10' ceilings. They make a wonderful accent for the room and a nice change from a silk palm tree or other plant."
