Wonderful Set
"Just received our first place setting from out registry, and couldn't be happier! We specifically chose this set for its weight, and the feeling when holding each piece in your hand.
The edges are rounded perfectly to use the edge of the fork as a cutting surface. The spoons are well-rounded so they hold a good amount of liquid without being too large. Knives cut well, although I am glad to be getting the steak knives as well.
Would definitely recommend this set. They look so nice on the table with our Nuit plate sets!"

Terrific Service
"I ordered 6 place settings of "Scoop" for my son and daughter-in-law for Christmas. I was going to see them before Christmas, but not on Christmas. I was able to have it shipped to their home closer to Christmas day. I also ordered one serving set to give them when I saw them in early December. I ordered it on the phone to pick up in the store. I stopped in the store, gave the person that approached me a copy of my order and in a few minutes I had it, all ready to go. It couldn't have been easier. I was also able to change my original order of 6 place settings to 12 and still get the discount I got on the first 6 place settings. Thank you Crate & Barrel for making this so easy."

Comfortable & Beautiful Flatware
"We registered for all pieces of the Scoop Flatware, and have received the 5-piece place setting, ladle, and 3-piece serving set.
Scoop is very comfortable to hold while eating and serving because the handles are rounded and not too bulky. The length is also very appropriate for eating.
The small and large spoon shapes are a nice length, width and depth. If you think about it, when you eat with a spoon, the end of the spoon needs to have enough depth to hold what you are eating, but not be too oddly shaped that it is uncomfortable when you are eating.
The knife blade is a great length and cuts very well, and the forks are a great size.
When shopping for flatware, we noticed some sets were very bulky or uncomfortable to hold. Some of the handles would dig into our skin. We also noticed some sets were too long and seemed cumbersome to use while eatings, and others were too short. Scoop was perfect for comfort, and the shiny finish goes beautiful with both casual and formal place settings. They also feel very durable when you are holding them.
My one disappoint with this set is that it does not have a butter knife, iced tea spoons, and more serving pieces."

Right-Handed ONLY
"We love this set and had it on our wedding registry. Once 12 place settings appeared, we were excited to use it and after washing the first set, made a huge discovery. The knife is meant for right-handed people only! With the handle scooping up the way it does, the knife is very awkward to hold in the left hand. It only effects the knife because the cutting edge forces you to hold it with that side down. We are so sad as we have to return them all now."

fantastic flatware
"I've had this flatware for a few months now, and I love it! All the pieces seem a little larger than most of the other sets I looked at, but I had no problem getting used to it. It feels very nice in the hand, very comfortable to hold which is key with flatware. I've been washing it in the dishwasher, and it seems to be holding up just fine. I would definitely recommend this product!"

Never Grow Old
"My fiance and I registered for this flatware as they looked like a classic. We had only seen them online as (sad I know!) there isn't a Crate and Barrel in Nashville. However, when we were given our first set we were EXTREMELY pleased when we opened them. They're not too thick, a good weight, and will never go out of style or make us have regret."

Classy & functional
"I love this set. The pieces have a good weight to it and they look and feel very sleek and elegant. I use these as my everyday silverware and then just throw them in the dishwasher to clean afterwards -- they come out looking like new. Would definitely recommend."

Very Versatile
"When registering for our flatware, we wanted to find a place setting that we could use with our everyday dinnerware as well as our china. This flatware fit the bill! It looks great with our Roulette dinnerware as well as our fine china. It has a good weight to it but is not too heavy where is will fall of the plate if not balanced well. It is very simple and classy and I love the shine. The Scoop flatware really does go with any type of setting."

Nice design, dishwasher leaves looking streaky
"I love the look of this silverware, but I am disappointed that even clean out of the dishwasher it always seems to be streaked and doesn't look clean. I can't really tell if it's the product or my dishwasher, I recommend the product but you may want to wash by hand in order to have it look nice."
