Worried about the chain breaking
"I love this lamp for the reasons two others have stated. However, one thing worries me which is the chain that you pull to turn the lamp on and off (and change from hi - low). It is part of the interesting design of the lamp, but how long will it also be functional? I purchased two for my master bedroom. I guess time will tell.
Has anyone had any problems with the chain breaking?"

Charles Table Lamp Bronze
"I purchased the Charles Table Lamp in bronze several months ago. I have received so many compliments from all that visit. My theme is contemporary (but this lamp would be great in most decors); the lamp is a perfect fit in my living room. I love the open base design with the high/low pull switch; the lamp is extremely sturdy. The linen shade has a fabric covered diffuser top which displays a warm glow; a very beautiful view from my loft as well!! Love this lamp."

Transitional Take
"We were looking for table lamps everywhere- online, other stores, used, new. Nothing seemed to be just right for the fresh, modern-contemporary style we were looking for. We had our eye on the Charles Table Lamp Bronze and decided to purchase two of them to complete our symmetrical sofa seating arrangement with side tables and lamps. We are ecstatic with the look and beauty the Charles lamps brought to our living space!"
