"I originally purchased one of these rugs for a high traffic area - in front of the door that leads to my deck. After months of use, it still looked new; so I bought 2 more - one for the family room and one for a powder room. In all cases, they look terrific, wear like iron, and clean up easily. I have 3 kids, a large dog, and lots of visitors in my house. These rugs are perfect for high traffic areas and they look far more expensive than they are. I love them so much, I am buying three more for my beach house in Florida.
Please note this is the first review I have ever written, and I shop online often. The fact that I wrote a review on this product is an indication of how strongly I feel about the looks, quality, and durability of the Savannah cane rug."
"We purchased this rug to put under our dining room table. Not only is it good looking, but our dining room chairs slide easily on it. We needed the easy care of an indoor-outdoor rug because of our older dog, but it certainly doesn't look utilitarian. Love it!"
"I have purchased 3 other outdoor carpets from different companies but this one is the best. It really resembles natural jute and it is thicker than my other outdoor carpets. I am considering buying the big one for my family room as I have 2 cats and a dog and would like the ease of cleaning."
"We choose this rug for our entrance. It looks great, is soft underfoot and the easy care nature of this product suits our active lifestyle. It was laid directly on porcelain tile and movement isn't a problem."
"Rarely post reviews but was online and saw that this rug is still available. Thought I'd share for those considering purchase -- that we've had the 8x8 on our deck for 2 years, now going into 3; and its stood up beautifully. Exposed to Atlanta ever changing weather."
"I purchased the area rug version of this and then the runner coz I have 3 small dogs. Wanted something that can be cleaned just in case of "accidents". It's been 2 months and no accidents. I think even my dogs thing it's too pretty to use as their weewee pad!
For the runner, I put a blue zebra print rug on top just to break the monotony coz the area rug and runner are close to each other."
"I received this rug as a gift from my boyfriend's mother and I absolutely love it! We wanted our formal dining room to feel cozy and natural and this rug fits the bill! Best of all, it's easy to clean so as often as we entertain, it won't be a problem for my dinner parties! I would highly recommend this rug."
"All the Crate and Barrel products I have from rugs to sofas are good quality. These rug pads are even better than I expected. Fit well, keep the rugs in place and offer good cushioning. I have already ordered another one for a larger rug."
"I bought this indoor/outdoor rug for my entry, although not as highly patterned as I am used to in my front hall, its simplicity is growing on me. So far it still looks new and we have two teenagers a muddy dog as the test agents. I highly recommend. I am through with wool rugs that hold onto dog smell even after a good cleaning...."
"I purchased several samples of rugs for my living room. I have a craftmen style home so it is a slight bit rustic with plank wood floors. I chose the Savannah Cane rug and I am very pleased with how it looks. It has the look of a natural fiber rug, but stands up to my dog's abuse! It blends well and does not compete with my plank floors. I love that it is lovely in my living room, feels great under foot, my dog loves it, and all I have to do to clean it is hose it down when it needs it!!! For me, it doesn't get any better!"
"I have ordered 2 of these rugs. The first one I bought last summer for my porch and it still looks new after a year of use! The second on was purchased for a lake house and I look forward to enjoying it, too. I don't think you will be disappointed with this rug!"
"I have two of these rugs, the 9x12 and the 6x9. Both are used in high traffic areas (living room and pass-through office) and see a lot of action with four kids and a large dog. It's easy to clean and looks nice. It's not terribly soft but it looks like a real natural fiber rug without the cleaning issues, so I'm happy. Price wise, it's right on."
"This is the 3rd rug that I am trying in the kitchen under our rolling island. The tight weave holds its shape, the fact that it can be washed off with water is a plus for cleaning up spills and the color looks great in the kitchen. The only downside is the folds have not completely come out of it yet, but I'm sure over time they will."
"I was looking for a durable and good looking rug for my kitchen. I searched a lot of places and found exactly what I was looking for with this rug. Not only did I find the perfect rug, to my surprise it also came in a size that would also fit the back door of my kitchen. Very rare to find a rug and "mat" size together and it saved me from having to hunt around for something that "kind of" matched my rug. My kitchen gets a ton of traffic between my family and my dog and this rug stands up to it all without an issue. The perfect part is it is so easy to clean. Just take it outside, hose it down and let it dry. I get a ton of compliments on the rug. Still looks as good as the day that I purchased it!!"
"Been looking for years for a way to warm up my limestone-tiled foyer -- a popular choice in the 90's, but way too shiny, light-toned and out of place in my colonial. (Talk about a decorating mistake literally set in stone!) The rich color and natural texture ties in beautifully with the wood floors in the rest of the house."
