Sierra King Bed
The natural beauty of teak and oak combine in an eco-friendly union of repurposed wood with an understated spa aesthetic. Beautifully paneled headboard is crafted from strips of teak, salvaged from production fall-off scraps and steel-brushed to bring out the natural tone and texture of the grain. Solid European white oak frames the bed to beautiful effect. Platform bed designed for use with mattress; no foundation required. "The Sierra collection is truly outstanding in every way! Superb construction and materials make for a solid bed that looks absolutely fantastic. Great quality and cool look
"My fiancee and I just purchased this bed for our room, and we love it! The teak smells great, and the looks of the bed are superb. The most important feature for me, though, is the way the bed is made. The slats are bolted in, and run all the way across. The middle support is very securely attached, and the frame itself is very sturdy and well made. It's very comfortable, even after we had to relinquish our box spring. A great purchase, well worth the money."

Beautiful bed
"This bed along with the matching chifforobe are the highlights of our room. I love them. Great quality, awesome looks. Would highly recommend. The only thing to note is the little platform around it; I often forget and hit my leg. On the flip side, my toddlers enjoy having an easy way up. Go for it!"

Amazing
"Purchased the bed, two end tables and 6-drawer dresser online several months after seeing them in the store and am elated. The teak is absolutely beautiful...I get compliments galore on the set. Just be sure your mattress is not overly deep as this will take away from the headboard.
The pieces are all quite sturdy. I have had none of the issues another reviewer described with cracking or noise from the bed. This set's a keeper."

Beautiful piece with some defects
"I purchased this bed less then two years ago. It's a gorgeous piece that I expected was constructed well enough to last a life time due to both the reputation of Crate & Barrel, construction of the piece and the price tag. However, the wood near the base of the head board on my bed is beginning to crack. Also, the bed creeks whenever I move in bed. Beautiful bed that won't last."
