"The Direction Doubles are such a great glass. We use them for scotch. They are sleek, classic and heavy. Such a rich looking glass at a great price. Only wish is that they held a tiny bit more - 10oz would be perfect."

"I bought these for my husband for Christmas and he really loves them. They are nice and heavy at the bottom and he uses them for cocktails and whiskey. I only wish they had a matching decanter..."

Elegant glassware
"I purchased two glasses with which I'm extremely happy. They are simple and look great displayed on a shelf. As previous reviews stated, they are heavy and feel comfortable in your hand. I've chosen to hand wash them though the product description states they're dishwasher safe."

Nearly perfect!
"I love these glasses. The shape and weight are great. The only problem - you need to make sure the water drains out of the small bubble on the bottom before putting the glasses away in the cabinet."

Objects of Beauty
"I've had my double old-fashioneds for at least 5 years. I love the weight - a pound and a half! - and the overall feel in the hand. I wash all my good glasses by hand, and dry them before there's any chance of spotting. Mine are still brilliantly clear and polished. You do have to be somewhat careful when washing, because their heavy bottoms render them unstable in any position but up, and you could easily lose your grip. But this is simply proper care of a good glass. Please don't be using the dishwasher, folks!"

Great glasses
"These glasses have great balance and weight - I bought a set of 4 for my husband with a bottle of nice bourbon. He loves the glasses - they are very bottom heavy so no tipping over :-) The only bad thing about them is that when you wash them, water gets caught in "the bubble" in the base of the glass so I have to shake out the water before putting them on the shelf. Overall - makes for a great gift!"

great glass
"great quality drinking glass, with a good weight to it. they are well made and go with any decor. the only negative is that in the dishwasher. water fills up in the little bubble below, so you need to shake it out onto a dish towel before putting away. they make one without the bubble, but i wish they would seal the bottom to make this step go away."

Great idea, poor execution
"Beating a dead horse here... these are really cool glasses with two major faults: they chip very easily and "dishwasher safe" is very generous. My fiancée and I chipped one on our first cheers. Not ideal. I can live with the dirty dish fluid since you just need to take them out and rinse the bottom after a cycle. I need at least 2-5 cheers's though before I expect chippage."

"I registered for Direction glassware when I got married in 2005 and they still look great! One thing I would say is I wish I could easily clean every little bubble at the bottom of the glasses! I love using the pilsners just to drink water!"
