Awesome every day!
"I love the look of this plate: the finish is very glossy and the feel is sturdy. The completely flat bottom is awsome for serving salad or pasta as the dressing or sauce doesn't sink to a rounded bottom. They stack nice and don't wiggle around in the cupboard."

Versatile
"These are the first new plates I've purchased for myself. Since moving out on my own about 10 years ago, I've been using some fancy old amber glass hand-me-down dishes and some casual plates I picked up at Goodwill. When I saw these online, I fell in love. I planned on waiting till I got married to put them on the registry, but Black Friday specials rolled around and I couldn't resist. I bought 10 each of these and the smaller plates. There are a few imperfections that give them a handmade look (as far as the shape is concerned, not the surface), but only upon close inspection. These were perfect for the price and wouldn't have expected more (or less!). They. Are. Beautiful!"

Nice versitle set, 1 word of caution
"So I bought the Verge dinner and salad plates and I really like them. The design is contemporarty but fits well in my transitional style (mix of various styles) - it works nicely for both a casual or formal dinner. I did not have the color issue another reviewer noted as I replaced all my dinnerware at the same time with CB dishes and they all match each other. I could see it as a problem if you're trying to match another white set though. So my one word of caution is this - - these are VERY thin dishes, which has drawbacks I didn't anticipate. Obviously, when you're at the store you can tell how thin these are but I had not realized the "thinness" would translate to these plates getting extremely hot once hot food is placed on them. This is a non-event if you're eating something cold or eating anything for that matter as long as your sitting at the table but if you're trying to dish out some freshly made spaghetti to eat in the living room on the couch, that might not work out as well :) My solution now is to just grab a dish towel as a buffer - easy fix. Also, while I was washing dishes on night, one dish slipped and immediatel chipped so they're not the sturdiest either. So long as you do not expect thick, bullet-proof and heat resistant dishes.....and you're not as clumsy as I am while washing dishes, I think you'll be happy. I'm made my peace with these dishes now and overall I am very pleased with my purchase - they serve the purpose and look nice. I also LOVED the $4.95 shipping, what a deal!"
