It makes the very best crust as well as a wonderful composed pizza.

Best Crepe/Pancake Pan
"Best pan ever you will get........I recently bought a electric glass cooktop. The manual says that I have to use a enameled cast iron pan and not the regular cast iron. Since we make crepes/pancakes (A south indian dosa) very often, I wanted to splurge on this pizza pan which double as pancake pan. I can promise that you will get a nice golden crepe using this cast iron pan just like we get in restaurants. Just make sure you stick to the size of your heating element when making this crepes to get it evenly cooked. Go ahead and buy it. You won't regret.

Great pan, wish it had a book
"Love the pan. It cooks evenly and is easy to clean. I would have liked it to come with more information with tips, recipes, etc. This was my 1st pizza pan and I'm not an experienced cook. It would have been helpful to have some type of guide for beginners. Other than that, I would recommend this to others."

Wonderful results!
"This pan is the answer to a lot of artisan bread and flat bread problems. Results are fantastic with this pan. Heavy, yes but the handles are perfectly suited for a pan of this generous diameter. If you bake often and have gone through several baking stones, you should get one of these Mario Batali cast iron pans. I love it."

Excellent Product
"Hands down, the best pizza pan you will ever purchase. We have been making our own dough (and on occasion buying the frozen dough) for years, but never got the results we wanted.....this pan gives an AMAZING crust, even cooking and it's a breeze to clean up. Pizza stones crack and require pre-heating and stainless doesn't allow for that awesome crust you want in a pizza. You get the benefits of cast iron, but because it's coated, you don't have to mess with the seasoning and maintaining the seasoning like traditional cast iron. I couldn't be happier with this purchase and I intend on picking up another one. Would love to see this line available in more colors (or black) and more pieces that are enameled cast iron."

"I purchased this for a family member who loves to cook, and because of the success they have had with the pizza pan, they have turned Friday nights into pizza nights at their house. It is heavy and durable, and the crust cooks evenly on the pan. Much better than a pizza stone."

excellent for home made pizza in std oven
"Without having the true brick oven for pizzas and bread, we love this pan for both thin and thick crust homemade pizza. The cast iron allows it to become a crispy crust with the right recipe. It is heavy, but it makes great pizza! Cleaning is relatively easy for sink washing, you just will have a workout :)"

Perfect Pizza
"My husband is a huge pizza lover and registered for this pan for our wedding. It's cooks any type of pizza, and cooks it crispy and evenly just how we like it. The pan is very pic, and you can put several mini pizzas on there. The only downside, is that it's super heavy, and sometimes I feel like I'm going to drop the hot hot pizza on my feet.. guess I'll have to start pumping some iron."

Best Pizza Ever!
"I used this pan for the the first time Saturday night and my pizza turned out amazing. I put the pan directly on my my grill and the crust was light, crispy and comparable to any trattoria style pizza. Worth every penny."

Quality pizza pan
"Being an avid pizza lover I was anxious to try out this pan. So far it has performed extremely well. We started out by making pizzas using the store bought premade dough and just adding our toppings. The last time we went from scratch using Mario's recipe for pizza dough and we both loved it. Much better than using a premade dough. The only problem was the recipe seemed dry, but I just added water until the consistency was right. The pizza turned out very well for our first time making from scratch. I would recommend this pan to anyone. Very heavy cast iron and it is fairly easy to clean by hand washing."

Gotta Love Cast Iron
"I love this pan. First time out with a thin crust pizza it came out wonderfully. I originally bought it to see if it would do artisan bread as well as a stone (mine keep breaking) but haven't given it a try yet. But the pizza crust was amazing. Also used it for roasting veggies and it did wonderfully. C & B's price was much lower than other stores. I am quite fond of cast iron over almost anything so I am sort of partial. But you can really get a good size pizza on this and it does really well."
