Start with the perfect base. Clean simple lines in four sizes are made of hot-rolled steel, hand-welded and ground at each corner to create a raw, torched millscale finish. Make it exactly right for your room with a choice of two tops: a heavy slab of acid-treated travertine marble or thick, clear glass with a polished rim. -Cut and welded natural dark tubular steel with torched millscale finish at corners -Clear powdercoat finish on base -Color and natural veining will vary with each unique top -Made in China

Parsons travertine tables
"I purchased the travertine rectangle coffee table, one side table, and the travertine console table. I have wanted these tables since the first time I saw them. I waited a year to purchase them, (I find great comfort in the fact the Crate and Barrel are not always changing things under the line "new and improved"). I also purchased the seguro media console and I thought mixing the wood and stone would create the feel I was looking for. It definitely did the trick! My rectangle piece had a hairline fracture that I noticed after wiping it off. Crate and Barrel replaced it immediately. I love this store and my home wouldn't be what is it with out C&B. My style would be rustic mixed with modern.
Also, the delivery team did an outstanding job and their attitudes were the best of any delivery people who have been in my home.

Finally Found "The One"
"Love, love, love this table. The individuality of each travertine top makes this table unique. I looked at more than fifty tables and this was the only one that met my expectations. It is the perfect fit for my living room.

Top Notch Entry Table
"This table is fantastic. It's the perfect piece in my entry way and I get so many compliments. Nothing can harm this top and it looks so good. Just a lamp on it and with my black floor it's perfect! Waited a long time to find the right one, and it was worth the wait for finding this table. It's truly misnamed as a console table, to me, that implies to hold a tv, which would be a shame as it would hide the beauty of the stone."

"The Parsons console with travertine top makes an elegant entrance in my foyer. Liked this style and combination of stone and metal design so much that I also got the side table and coffee table! Sheek and Sturdy!
"Great table! I purchased it a few months ago and it looks stunning in my work office. Unfortunately it doesn't go with my newly remodeled look so I'm selling it on craigslist but I get lots of compliments on it around the office. Only wished I had planned a little better so I could keep it!"

Classic Versatility
"Mix this piece with traditional, modern or ethnic pieces in urban, country or beach inspired rooms. Anything goes when you find a well constructed table of massive travertine marble floating just above a finely finished steel frame. I have loved this piece in our entry with a table lamp and as a featured sofa table dividing a open concept living room and den. I look forward to the future as this classic table will always be among our favorites as we down size our home. Maybe next time it will hold a flat screen t.v. in the master bedroom!"
