The Perfect Media Console
"This 72" console is really well made and it looks great with a large flat screen TV on the wall above it. It has plenty of storage room while still keeping a low profile. The solid walnut construction is very impressive. Definitely worth the money - you will see why."

Gorgeous console
"It took us years to decide what we will get for our living room TV. Initially the cost of this piece made us stop and think about it but eventually we decided to go for it and I am so happy we did. It is a stunning piece of furniture, very practical and very stylish. The drawers are exquisitely made and can take a large quantity of dvds and cds. The console makes a statement in the room without overwhelming it. I absolutely love it!."

sleek, logical acquisition
"My new Pearson 72" Media Console turns me on because it represents minimalism at its best. It is sleek, inconspicous and yet speaks loud and clear because it says: look at me, I am beautiful and I hold your media entertaiment like it is not even there. Love it, with some caveats
"This is a beautiful console. It's well built and very heavy (difficult to move!). I love that the drawer fronts are cut from a single piece of wood. The cubbyholes are about 16" deep, 4.75" high and 23" wide. A PS3 and a standard DVD player fit easily, but our small, 4" high receiver only just fits. With the cords sticking out the back, the receiver juts out the front more than I'd like, but luckily it all works and the drawer underneath still opens easily. I think most receivers are too tall to fit in this media unit. It'd also be better if the cord management holes at the back were larger/more well spaced out."

"The media stand is perfect. There's enough space for a big TV and some artwork or lamp on the side. It looks very classy/modern.
The 3 slots are perfect for gaming consoles but as some reviews state, stay away if you have a larger receiver.
Very sturdy and heavy, I'm not worried about it bending from the heavy TV."

Love it!
"We ordered this for our new single-family house and are so happy with our purchase! The size fits perfectly and it is a solid, well-built piece of furniture. It's a very modern piece that fits in nicely - we have received a number of compliments already. We also have a 56" flat screen on it and still have room on either side so the proportions look good as well. And, this piece comes fully assembled."

Excellent Design!!
"After endless searching, I am glad to have found this exquisite piece of furniture. The details are where it counts!! It isn't Immediately apparent in the online photos, but the drawer fronts are all hewn from a single piece of walnut, adding to the minimal lines of the console, and the natural finish is quite lovely. This piece is very unassuming, but it always seems to grab peoples attention with it's excellent craftsmanship. Thanks C&B!!"

Great lines, generous storage
"This media console was the perfect fit for our space and new flat-screen TV. The height is perfect for viewing, but looks great when the set is wall-mounted as well. Also, efficient space-usage is an issue for us, and I appreciated that it wasn't excessively deep--plenty of depth for cable box and DVD player without too much wasted space.
This was a big splurge for us. I looked long and hard for models with a similar look that weren't as expensive, to no avail. But it really makes the room; it's modern without being cold, and a great complement to our space."

Components don't fit
"I thought that I'd researched this piece fully, but...
To my aesthetic, this piece looks great. It has beautiful proportions, nice materials, and sound construction. I would definitely award this piece 5 stars for looks.
However, I was shocked when I realized that neither my Yamaha nor Denon AV receiver fits into the compartments ostensibly designed for media components. Sure, the DirecTV box fits well, but why design a "media storage" piece that's inadequate for a modern AV receiver. [BTW, I found that Marantz makes a rather slim AV receiver that may fit.]
So my 3-star ranking is the average of 5 stars for appearance and 1 star for modern media functionality."

Beautiful piece of furniture
"Looks fantastic, and compliments any setting. I'm confused by the previous review based on the fact that this piece is part of Crate and Barrel's furniture collection, and does not require any assembly whatsoever. It arrives fully assembled. 2 of my co-workers saw my unit, and immediately purchased it as well. I highly recommend this piece."
