great batter bowl but...
"Happy with my purchase, but wish I would have known that this batter bowl is an Anchor Hocking product. (I could have purchased this same product at my local Walmart store for less money.) Thought I was getting something different through Crate & Barrel."

Love It !
"The size, flexibility and durability of this product are more than worth the price. I am purchasing an additional set of these bowls. I mix and prepare several food items myself for health reasons. With this product, I am able to measure, prepare and store all in one container. I cannot find a single negative aspect of this product."

Already my go to accessory
"Just received this and I already wonder how I ever lived without it. Great for mixing and storing batters, prepping fruits for canning (clean, chop and dump in til you have accumulated the appropriate amount), and it is wonderful for microwaving party dips and sauces."

Awesome!
"This bowl/measuring cup is huge! It's make a nice measuring cup and you can mix thing in it. It comes with a nice lid so you can also use it to store things. the measurements are imprinted on the glass which is really nice because I always have a problem with the painted cups wearing off."

sturdy, multi-purpose & nice-looking too!
"I already have one of these and am about to buy a second. It's a product made by Anchor Hocking, but it's more reasonably priced here than anywhere else (thanks as always, C&B!). Don't limit your view of this to batter bowls -- it's also a huge measuring cup (8 cups!), a 2-quart microwave-and-store dish, and a pretty bowl you can set out on its own with fruit, crafts, children's toys, ornaments, mail, etc. The lid is high-quality and fits securely if you do want to use it (but obviously don't microwave the lid). I love pouring hot stock into this to cool before storing in the fridge. I've heated cider and cinnamon sticks in it, added a ladle and used it to serve a traditional beverage of the season. It even makes a great pitcher for the quick-cooking method for iced tea (brew double strength, pour into a highly-tempered shock-proof pitcher full of ice, and stir until ice is melted - voila!). I can't think of anything in my kitchen that serves more uses more effectively. Great to have!"
