Wish I got more!
"I bought several of these glass jars for flour, sugar, etc. I only wish I had gotten more. The wide mouth lid is perfect for scooping out ingredients and the air-tight seal keeps out moisture. They are very handy and once again I am pleased with my C&B purchase."

Perfect pantry size
"This jar is a nice size for holding a box-worth of crackers, pasta or other smaller packages. I purchased it to hold my protein drink mix [I believe it was a 1lb. package]. The tall scoop that comes with the package fits nicely through the opening.

Great kitchen Accessory
"I bought one of these jars and loved it so much I went back and bought 8 more. They are perfect for storing food airtight. I was using Ball jars with a plastic lid and they were not airtight like these Fido jars. I use them to store food and also to make ferments with. Since the jars are airtight I do not get any mold in my frements. They are also great for long term storage of the ferments. I am glad I did not invest in any expesive fermenting crocks and devices. These jars are a great alternative and the price is right. They were packaged nicely to protect in shipping."

No More Plastic
"Like many, I am getting away from plastic containers. Not just for health reasons, but because they are useless. They don't keep things fresh and don't keep out bugs. I was also looking for something not foreign made. These jars check all the boxes. They are airtight, sturdy and hold all manner of pantry items. Now I know my food will be fresh and healthy when I need it."

Very Satisfied
"I bought these Fido Jars with clamp lids for the two quarts of yogurt I make every week. I have been reusing old plastic yogurt containers and was concerned about the safety of that practice over the long term. I wanted heavy glass, tight sealing, 1 liter containers and the description of these sounded like what I was looking for and the price was right too. When I received them I was blown away with the quality of these jars. Very heavy glass, extremely tight seal and classy looking. Crate & Barrel took extreme care in packing these to insure they arrived in perfect condition. I couldn't be happier with the product or Crate & Barrel, and would highly recommend them both. I will be purchasing different sizes of the jars for many of my food storage needs."

Long term purchase
"You can not go wrong with these jars. If you are trying to save money by buying in bulk, then these jars will help keep your items fresh for longer periods of time. I will eventually replace all my plastic storage containers with these glass jars. The rubber seals are easily replaceable if smells linger and you want to use the jar for something else (i.e. - coffee will leave behind a smell in the seal but you can change the seal out if you want to store a different item in that jar). I suggest buying a variety of sizes vs all one size."

Love These!
"I bought quite a few of these in pretty much every size available, in order to update my kitchen storage. They're sturdy and they look stupendous. You can also disassemble the metal from the glass if you need to throw them in the dishwasher, which is nice for the long-term (Just be sure you don't lose any of the parts!)
And on a side note... I had a problem with a couple arriving with larger-than-desired scratches/glass irregularities... and the customer service was unbelievably great. I don't return/exchange stuff all that often, and when I do it always seems like I have to fight someone about the issue. That was sooo not the experience I had with Crate and Barrel. Just top notch all around!"

"I purchased three sizes of the Fido Jars for use as cannisters for baking - and they are exactly what I wanted! When they arrived they were packaged so carefully that everything was in perfect shape - I had ordered glassware from another company the same day and had to return it twice due to broken pieces - Crate & Barrel is now my go-to store for specialty items."
