Simple and beautiful
"I purchased 4 of these counter height stools because of the very clean lines. They look great with my bright white cabinets and black granite. The color is kind of cherryish if in direct sun but still look very dark and rich. Excellent craftsmanship as well. Love them!"

Solid and Comfortable
"Purchased 4 of the stool and have had them for 3 months. They are very solid and well built. Comfortable such that no cushiin is needed. No noticable nicks or dings and they are getting much use. A little more than we wanted to spend but they should last a while."

Just the right mix
"I shopped long and hard for the perfect stool for my clients kitchen. Kipling has the right combination of looks, sturdiness, and comfort to fit the bill perfectly.
The setting is a 15 year old house with Arts and Crafts-inspired furniture. The Kitchen I designed is a combination of painted cabinets at the perimeter and cherry at the island, in an open Great Room/Dining Room configuration."

Love these...
"We bought 4 of these counter stools w/ the ivory cushions a few months ago. We couldn't be happier. They are very comfortable and look great in our kitchen. We just built our house and I searched far and wide for months for the perfect counter stools for our kitchen. Our large kitchen island has an overhang that serves as a bar and we needed counter height stools that matched our cabinets. We have dulce/espresso color cabinets and these match perfectly. My husband and I are both extremely picky and these have managed to make us very happy. We can fit a few more bar stools so we plan on getting a few more so that we can bring them out for the holidays when we have extra guests over. Thanks Crate & Barrel :)"

Great Chairs
"These bar stools fit wonderfully into our new contemporary bar space despite their traditional design. They are extremely comfortable (I'm sitting in one right now), very versatile, and just plain beautiful. They're well worth the money and they are harvested from a renewable resource- a great buy just like all of our other Crate & Barrel furniture. What could be better?!?!?!"
