Great Quality
"Jars are thick, sturdy glass, clasp hardware wiggles a bit but snaps lids down fairly tightly. Jars stay standing when trying to fill, lid doesn't knock them down. I'm very pleased and will order again. In case you need them to fit somewhere, they are barely under 4" high, 2 1/8" wide (including lid hardware, jar is 2 3/4" wide) 1 5/8" deep. I have found them to hold about 2 ounces."

Great Little Jars
"My daughter does crafts and she loves the jars to put her beads in. My granddaughter is in college in her first apartment, starting from scratch, so I gave her jars with some of my spices to start her off."

Good storage, but rust easily
"The jars are a good size. They look great, and have strong closures. My only complaint is that I handwashed them prior to their first use and they immediately started showing rust on the metal clasps as they were air drying."

What a difference!
"These jars are so pretty! They've made such a difference in my spice rack appearance/organization! The only thing is that when you wash them, dry them immediately! And if you can hand wash them and dry them right away, you shouldn't encounter the rusting issue."

just what I needed
"I was looking for a spice jar. Tried several big box stores and everything I found either was too short and didn't hold enough, or was too big for my cupboard. These were the perfect size and very easy to print a label to personalize them. Plan on ordering another set soon!"

Absolute hit as a bridal shower favor!
"I purchased 4 dozen of these spice jars to use as a favor for my niece's bridal shower. I knew the bride would be receiving gifts from Crate & Barrel and decided it would be fun for each guest to receive something from C&B as well. I filled each jar with a meat and vegetable rub. They make my heart sing!
"Seeing all these adorable, practical, totally snazzy little jars lined up across two long shelves in my kitchen gives me a lift every time I look at them and use them -- which is often! I must have five dozen of them now -- I cook with a wide variety of spices and herbs -- each labeled, and lined up alphabetically. No, I'm not usually this organized in life, which may be one more reason I find these so appealing. I just love the classic look of them, and the space-saving oval shape. The are the ONE thing in my kitchen that everybody comments on with admiration. Instead of a jumbled lot of odd sizes and colors, I have -- a design statement! Plus I save money buying as needed and not having to throw away unused but elderly spices. These jars add greatly to the pleasure of cooking."

so pretty!
"we just remodeled our small kitchen. I used every possible inch for storage and have a 3 inch pull out spice 'cabinet' nothing fit in it becuase it was so narrow. I found these and LOVE them! they are so pretty and easy to use! My grandsons love to pull it out and look at all the pretty colors!"

Love these jars
"These are great jars! They have a good seal to them, are easy to scoop from, and are really lovely to look at. Buying spices in the bulk section is significantly cheaper than buying them in the small plastic containers, so eventually these will pay for themselves. I also like the oval shape (instead of round) because they fit so much more efficiently in a given space. I would buy them again!"

"I bought 2 packs of these from the Crate & Barrel Outlet store in Alexandria, VA. They are the PERFECT size for spice and I get compliments all the time on how cute they are! Nice jars
"These are some of the nicest spice jars I have seen. The glass was of good quality and the opening hinges were very well designed and sturdy. I used them as christmas gifts filled with dried herbs from my garden and got a lot of compliments on the jars (the herbs too)! They were a bit pricey, but very good quality."
