Still going strong after 15 yrs
"I received this set for my wedding 15 years ago. I still have every single piece, not one broken and I use them every single day with family, friends, kids and everything. I've experimented with other dishes but these never go out of style and I can mix in other dishes with them. I've secretly wanted them to break so I can change them out but I can't find a good replacement that'll last like these have both in terms of style and strength. I especially love the plates, bowl and the coffee cup. Coffee cup is great size for home made cappuccino. Great product! Will last you a lifetime, whether you like it or not! Just kidding...love them"

lovley, but chip easily
"I really like the appearance and weight of these dishes. Since they have a simple design and are all white, they go well with any table setting or season. My complaint is that they chip VERY easily. I have now chipped 2 dinner plates in the dishwasher."

10 years later still like new!
"I registered for this set 10 years ago and it it still absolutely wonderful and like new! My auntie-an amazing chef- was right when she said go white for dinnerware-this has been the perfect set! A bit of sophistication but not too pretentious nor too dull. AND-Crate and Barrel has kept it in stock, so I keep expanding the set. Great buy!"

"We registered and received two Roulette sets as wedding gifts and they have been amazing! It is a gorgeous set and looks great for dinner parties as well as casual dinners at home. Roulette Dinnerware
"I was looking for white dishes to replace what I have been using for the past ten years. After reading others reviews I purchased them. I love the size, they fit perfectly in the dishwasher. I haven't had dishes with soup/cereal size for some time and I like the change. What surprised me the most is the weight of the dishes have more of a China feel to them. Since I use them for all my entertaining, it's great."

I was conflicted
"Well I got them very quickly, surprised in fact they came so quickly. Was also equally surprised when I opened the box. I had read the reviews and there were comments about the bowl size, but these were more shallow than I expected. However, once I got used to the idea and tried them, I was again surprised, pleasantly that is. They are shallow but large enough in diameter to compensate. They have another advantage not previously thought about. Being shallow and larger diameter allows those hot soups to cool a bit quicker. I still prefer the deeper bowls for cereal, but for soups and salads these are perfect. They can even serve as a little luncheon plates if you wish. The pieces are well made and the beautiful white porcelain looks great under any colorful food. I do recommend them. I had earlier ordered some tea cups, also porcelain, and was well pleased with them as well. My wife has a great set of stoneware, but there is something pleasing about this porcelain and we find ourselves using them more often than the other. It is my intention to order additional pieces."

love these dishes
"I purchased these dishes because of the open stock availability. So glad I did - I love them and if one gets broken I can replace it. I can also add on extra place settings or extra pieces. They are very nice and I love the fact that they are a regular size. So many of the new dishes are huge! I purchased them on line and had not seen them in person, but I trust Crate & Barrel and knew I would love them. Thanks to Crate & Barrel again."

Great everyday and entertaining dinnerware
"After having these dishes for a while I have come to love them. They are just the right size, weight and color (bright white). They do not show silverware marks from cutting food or chip on the edges when accidentally hitting the counter when putting the dishes away. The larger soup bowl is a little shallower than i thought, however, i still use them often."

"I've only just recently come around to the idea of white dinnerware, having previously chosen colors and patterns instead. I looked around quite a bit; many options were either too boring or too "grand" to fit in apartment-sized cupboards. When I finally checked out these dishes, I was sold. You have to see them in person to appreciate the subtle band of rings. They have just enough sheen to them to elevate the look over plain ol' white dishes. So far, they have been able to withstand my klutzy handling. Oh, and the large serving bowl is a gorgeous statement piece on its own (the rings are on the inside!) I am headed to my local store to complete my set today.
C&B, please add more serving pieces! Where are the square plates featured in the last photo in the product description?"

Great dishes
"We love these dishes. The size of the plates and bowls and mugs are perfect for everyday use. They are not too big that they overwhelm the dishwasher space, and are still a great size to handle any meal you want to serve. The dishes look great and blend in well with other white serving pieces that I have already. I also really like the thickness and weight of the dishes. They are not overly heavy but have a nice weight that feels like they will be durable and long lasting. We had looked for a long time to find something to replace a cheaper set of department store white dishes which chipped too easily. I am thrilled to have finally found my perfect white dishes."

sugar bowl and creamer great!
"I actually bought these to go with a dinnerware set I got someplace else that didn't have matching pieces. I was pleasantly surprised at how well they blended in with it. Although plain white is hard to not blend together! But the size of the sugar bowl is very adequate. Other ones I've had have been much smaller so again a nice functional quality to it. Definitely would recommend it."
