A concentric doodle plays positive-negative in designer Annika Rimala's 1963 pattern Pippurikera (pepper ball). The large-scale design is reflective of her transition away from small prints as her popularity grew, culminating in her 20-year leadership of Marimekko's design department. Known for larger-than-life imagery and bold colors that reflect the youth culture of the 1960s, Pippurikera is a blossoming standard of Annika Rimala's iconic work. Duvet cover has positive-negative pattern on reverse, with hidden button closure at bottom and interior fabric ties to hold the insert in place. Duvet inserts and bed pillows also available. -Pattern designed by Annika Rimala; 1963 -100% cotton sateen -300-thread-count -Duvet cover patterns white on navy; reverses to navy on white -Machine wash cold -Made in Pakistan

Looks great
"I love the look of this duvet cover in my room. I didn't get the matching sheets, but now I want to. The fabric itself is fine, but nothing to rave about. It seems to be well made."

Review 2 for Pippurikera Navy Full-Queen Duvet Cover
"I purchased these sheets and shams but ended up going with a plain white duvet. I do love the sheets, color and pattern. My only complaint is that one of my standard shams is poorly cut, meaning the pattern is nothing like it appears in the photo. The front of it is nearly all purple with a tiny corner of the white Pippurikera (pepper ball). It looks completely mismatched next to the other sham. I couldn't exchange because they were already back ordered and then disconintued. I tried hiding the imperfection for months with throw pillows but am completely discouraged. Unfortunately, I have decided not to use the shams all together making it a waste of $100.
I know this pattern is now available in Navy, so should you choose to purchase, I would be cautious and ensure your shams are cut properly."

Review 3 for Pippurikera Navy Full-Queen Duvet Cover
"I am a big fan of Marimekko and Crate and Barrel, so purchasing this bedding was a bit of a no brainer for me. I shopped around quite a bit for new bedding, and found this new color option in the Pippurikera bedding to be the ticket. I have the duvet, shams and sheet set. The deep navy is pretty against the white, and the sheets have a very soft feel. The only thing I do wish is that the duvet would have stayed as soft after washing it as it was out of the package. For the price though, this is a good buy that will give you a classic, yet trendy look."
