Disappointed
"I was using a Braun blender before, and wanted to get a replacement when the blades went dull after being used for 10+ years... I have used only the immersion blender, 2- 3 times a day, almost everyday, for making purees and soups only, for my children. It was doing a good job. But unfortunately, the blade broke maybe after a year unexpectedly. I thought about getting a replacement, but instead I think I will get a different brand this time."

Great Idea but Poor & Cheap Product Material
"Great idea to have all 3 in 1 -- saves kitchen space but the part where Immersion blender, mixer and chooper connect to the motor is plastic so after 2 uses the connecting piece stripped out and now we can't use it anymore..."

Powerful Little Gadget
"I've only had the opportunity to utilize the immersion blender part to make smoothies and so far I'm impressed. Of course, it doesn't/won't chop ice cubes and I've had to chop them in small pieces but it does the trick, the measuring cup that accompanies it is very handy as well. I'm sure it will be great with chopping vegetables.
The one thing I've noticed though is that the motor gets hot pretty fast but I'm going to see how that fairs using the other attachments."

So much more than an immersion blender
"I bought this little guy about nine months ago, thinking that an immersion blender would be handy. I'd started doing a lot of slow cooker Indian stews and soups. It's actually the attachments that make this tool a nearly daily user in my kitchen. Mincing garlic, parsley, cilantro, etc. was a chore, because it meant a knife and a board and a mess. The big food processor seemed like overkill to mince a few garlic cloves or a bunch of herbs, and the jarred pre minced garlic, oh so convenient, has an annoying metallic fragrance that is unacceptable. The SmartStick has me joyfully mincing fresh garlic and herbs. The measuring cup is handy for larger volumes, and the immersion blender feature makes short work of soups and stews.
Two complaints: 1) the bowl spindle fell out very easily. I have a spot for that so I don't lose it. 2) The whip is a little finicky because it spins very quickly and spatters a lot. To prevent this, use a deep bowl for separated eggs or cream. A reduction gear would help."

My go-to kitchen gadget
"This was on our wedding registry and little did I know how much I would use and fall in love with this set. I use it all the time! Pizza sauce, baby food puree, pesto, dip, dressings, hummus, smoothing soups, malts/shakes, etc. Everything cleans up really easily. It's so much easier to just pull out this little gadget rather than my big food processor. I also bought this as a gift recently, since it's such a good price for the uses you can get out of it. This has been the best thing we put on our registry by far!"

GREAT!!
"I got this as a Christmas gift last year and have used it MANY MANY times since. I LOVE making my soups super smooth with the stick blender! I also love that if I want, I can leave the soup a little chunky depending on how much effort I put into blending. I used to transfer my soups from pot to blender then back to pot. Not any more!
I love the mini food-processor too! I haven't used it a ton, but I have made frozen bananas into "icecream" with it. I also blended up a quick pesto.
I haven't used the whisk or cup yet, but I plan to!"

Perfect multi-functional kitchen gadget
"Let me preface this review by saying that I hate to cook, but unfortunately, I have to. After seeing an in-store demo, I added this hand blender to my registry and was thrilled to receive it. This tool has made many of the things I hate about the kitchen better. Smoothie making is very easy and cleanup is much simpler than washing my huge blender. I have also used this to chop onions, blend soup, and make avocado spread. The ease of these tasks astounded me. Some tips though - if blending soup, it is easier if you make your soup in a deeper pot. If the pot is wide, you may not have enough liquid to keep the soup from spraying all over your kitchen. Also, when chopping onions I found it best to chop 1/4 at a time. Otherwise some of the onion was mush and the rest wasn't chopped. All in all, this is a great multi-purpose kitchen gadget."

"I gave this as a gift to my daughter who is in a small apartment and just starting out. It is compact and really covers basic needs for a mixer, a blender and a food processor and she had none of the above. She loves it and has already found lots of uses for it in her kitchen."
