Marimekko Appelsiini Green 20sq. Outdoor Pillow
The Appelsiini pillow is made of weather- and UV-resistant Spun Polyester. Designed in 1950, Appelsiini (orange) represents one of the first patterns created by legendary Marimekko designer Maija Isola. Steeped in rich color and deliberate detail, linear rows of green-colored orange slices are abundant in graphic repetition. With painting supplies scarce in the early 1950s, Maija experimented with crayons to achieve similar color saturation. Drawing patterns on thin sheets of paper, she would dampen them on a wooden board, allowing the hues to deepen and permeate the page in a painterly effect. Bright and Cheerful
"I wanted to use this for an accent pillow, a bright accent with muted surroundings. It is a comfortable and cheerful eye-catching pillow, one that draws your eye outward and your spirit upward.... I like it....youthful."

SLIGHT obsession
"So I have a SLIGHT obsession with Merimekko...needless to say I saw these pillows on a random drop in at C & B and HAD to have them for our rockers on our porch! They are a perfect accent to the chairs...and comfortable too!"

Liven Up Your Summer Patio!!
"WOW!!! That was the very first comment I received from my guests when they stepped out on my patio and saw my new outdoor pillows from C&B. I varied the look with different colored Appelsiini pillows in the same pattern. What an eye catcher! One guest commented that these pillows put her in a tropical mood right away! I highly recommend these pillows if you want to WOW your guests!!!!!"
