No More Mess!
"This works great to protect counters and keep them clean while baking. It does not slip on the counter during use. Clean-up is as easy as picking up the mat and rinsing it off in the sink. We've used this when making sugar cookies, pie crust, pizza dough, and bread. Since you aren't supposed to use knives against the mat, we use a stiff spatula to cut dough."

"Just a light dusting a flour is all you need with this mat to roll your pastries and cookies out. Makes cleaning a snap and rolls up to take up just a little space."

"I needed a mat for rolling dough on my counter and this was exactly the product I was looking for! It was reasonably priced, was a large size, and stuck well to my counter. It also cut down my cleaning time by a ton, I just quickly wiped it down in my sink and I was done. Loved this product! I also saw a similar one in another store and it was a hideous color and twice the price. This one is a nice neutral color."

No mess!
"This mat made it much easier to roll out dough and also made clean-up a cinch! My first time using this tool, I made rugelach, which turned out beautifully without having to coat my counter top in flour!"

Exactly what I needed
"I bought this for a prep mat for making pastries and it's exactly what I was looking for. It's so easy to clean, roll up and store. It almost has a self-healing feel to it so when I'm cutting out my pastry shapes, it doesn't harm the mat. Perfect!"

Love Love Love this!
"This is a must when baking. My sister, niece and I were entered into a cupcake competition and I don't know what we would have done without it. It keeps the mess it one place, easy to movearound, easy to clean and also easy to store. The mat is huge , compared to other brands which is also a nice feature. I'll never go without and my other sister has expressed intetrrest in getting one."

Love my baking mat!
"Definitely worth the money, I'll never buy another baking mat again. This rolls out really well (unlike the plastic ones I used to use as a kid), and it's super easy to clean - just throw it in the dishwasher!

Handy Mat - Good Purchase!!
"I call this a "Handy Mat". This is the best kichen tool/gadget I have come across in a while. I struggle with rolling dough on a wooden board, but not on this mat. It makes even an amateur Chef/Baker like me look good. The dough doesn't stick!! A must have if you bake and need to roll out dough."

Great Functional Countertop Protection
"I bought this to put on top of a stainless steel kitchen cart that was getting too scratched up. This fit perfectly, is nice and simple, durable, and really easy to clean. I also really like that it keep bowls from sliding around."

Definitely Recommended
"I love this! I have the larger mat, and it's perfect for kneading or rolling out dough. I never had a cutting board quite large enough, and didn't want to buy one because it would take up so much space to store. The fact that this rolls up makes storage so much easier. Plus, when kneading, the mat doesn't move around on the counter like cutting boards always do."

Perfect
"I love this silicone mat. I use it on my countertop for kneading and rolling dough. It works great, the mat sticks to the counter so I can knead without the mat slipping around; its very easy to clean with a little soap and water; and it rolls up nicely so it doesn't take up a lot of space in my drawer. Also, its less expensive than comparble products by other makers and works just great."

Really Great
"Received as a gift for my wedding, and used for the first time to roll out dough (since I am out of wax paper). It works wonderfully. It probably works like a wood cutting board, but it doesn't move around on the counter, so it's really nice to use to roll out and knead dough. It also cleans up nicely and easily. I don't need to worry about washing it with water too often, as I do with the wood cutting boards. Glad I registered for it, not really knowing it's benefits. Highly recommend."

What a waste
"At first when I saw this mat I was so excited and thought it was pretty cool because I love crate and barrel and I was looking for something to place on my countertop that could stay there all the time and match my kitchen. It looked so modern and thought it would be a great item to have. In the past, I used to always use a cutting board when I was preparing food or baking, but that got annoying having to put it on the countertop, clean it, and then have to put it away in the cabinet. So this seemed like a nifty little invention and just what I was looking for. The first problem I have with this item is that one corner has always stuck up in the air. No matter what I tried to do to get it to lay flat, it wouldn't. It would always pop back up. The second problem I have is for what seemed to be an easy clean up actually turned into not being so easy. The grey silicone rim around the entire mat rubs off when you clean it and then the beige area is exposed through the grey silicone. Very tacky looking and I ended up having to throw it out. I don't think the price is so wonderful either for an item that rubs off when you clean it."

Great for pizzas, pies, and biscuits!
"I bought this primarily for rolling out pizza dough (and preventing flour from covering our kitchen), but found that it's great for making pies and biscuits too.
I wasn't really sure how to go about cleaning it at first, but found that a little bit of warm water and a drop of soap makes clean up a breeze... it's always the last thing I wash and dries quickly when draped over the rest of my clean dishes.
This is also a lot cheaper than the french silicone mats you'll find at other kitchen stores. Overall, it's a great deal."

Can we cut pastry on it??
"I think these mats are great but I have a question???? Can we cut pastry and cookie shapes with a metal cookie cutter on them without any damage to the surface. Hope someone can help advice."
