Great Zester
"I had a cheap zester for years and dreaded seeing the word "zest" in recipes. I finally bought this one and couldn't believe what a difference it made! It works great for zesting lemons and oranges. I really don't know why I waited so long since this one wasn't that much more money. Highly recommended!"

It's Pretty Good
"It works as advertised, useful for zesting/grating fruits (I bought it mainly for lemons), or hard cheeses. It's nice that you can get more done with one swipe of the grater, since it's pretty long.
Note that it doesn't work on soft cheeses, as the grate is too small, and it just gets all gummed up. I didn't think about this before purchase, but that's really my own fault.
Comes with a hard plastic cover, so you don't catch things on it when getting into your kitchen drawers. Comes clean easily in the dishwasher."

"I don't know what took me so long to purchase one of these, its literally the best cheese grater I have ever used - good for parmigiano and all those hard cheeses - you can get huge amounts grated in no time at all. LOVE IT!"

Perfect
"This is perfect for zesting citrus! I actually bought the smaller, yellow-colored Microplane zester a few years ago, but the plastic on the sides started to break. I should have bought this zester in the first place. It functions really well, especially with the length of the plane (much better than the smaller one). I highly recommend this product and can't wait to use it for grating cheese and chocolate!"

"An excellent, all-purpose grater from Microplane. Not suitable for grating large quantities of cheese, but great for bits of zest, chocolate, or cheese. The grid is also entirely free of any plastic border (which you'll find on other Microplane designs), and that means it'll last many, many years. Good length, good grip, just a great tool!"

Coolest gadget ever
"Bought this for my wife for Christmas. Needed something to zest 10 lemons for making Limoncello. Wow...this thing made quick work of it. I thought it was going to be a pain in the neck to zest all those lemons, but it was a piece of cake - made the process fun, and not a bit of wasted peel. Fantastic product."

"This microplane is the best zester but can be used for many other things. I loved this so much that I bought one for each of my 3 sisters. It is great for grating ginger and cheese and I have even used it to grate garlic. I use grated lemon, orange, and lime peel often and this zests like no other zester I have ever owned."
