"This is such a stylish way to serve cheese when friends come over! We registered for this slate cheese board and also have the couture 2-piece cheese knife set. "I purchased the 20x12 slate cheese board as a christmas gift for my daughter-in-law. She wanted a LARGE board; this size will hold a nice selection of chesse. Labeling the cheese with chaulk is fun and clean up is easy. I think she will love entertaining with this cheese board."

Nice serving assessory!
"My sister has had one for some time, but it was a gift and she did not know where I could find another one. We finally searched on line and found it! We both just leave them on our counters when not using, and they look great!! I think they make lovely serving pieces for cheese and fruit, and can't wait to use it at a wedding shower I am giving!"

More countertop space
"I ordered 2 of these on line to place on top of my Thermador 5star burner cooktop for extra counter space. I returned 1 to the store because it appeared to have a larger than acceptable chip on the outer edge. The edges have a natural unfinished cut. The slate is not thick enough to place extremely hot items on top in fear of it cracking. Although they were not designed for how I am using them or fireproof due to the felt underside, I will make sure that the burners will not be used when they are on top. I considered having custom covers made( too $and where would i store them?) or using wood cutting boards ( too bulky). I am very pleased with this solution!! They look great:-)"

Useful Slate cooktop cover
"I purchased 2 large slate boards to place over my cooktop grills when I am not cooking to give me more counter space. They are the perfect measurement that I was searching for and the look is perfect. I considered cutting boards, custom made tops and happily decided that I found this idea as an option. Easy to move and place elsewhere. Still trying to decide if I can place something that is hot out of the oven on top??"

"I received both this cheese board and the smaller one as a shower gift. They look beautiful on any table and have protective bottom to keep your table looking great. Actually wrote with chalk to label the cheese on the slate - perfect!"
