Village Grigio Side Chair
One of our most popular chairs, Village is handcrafted by Italian artisans with a sturdy, solid beechwood frame, generous moulded seat of low-emission engineered wood with veneer, and vertical slat back. The rubbed grigio finish is hand-stained, hand-distressed and finished with a multi-step process resulting in rich shades of grey with dark undertones. Tie on extra comfort with our cotton-linen cushion in natural (sold separately). -Chair is solid beechwood and low-emission engineered wood -Water-based finish -Cushion is 51% cotton, 49% linen -100% polyester foam and fill -Tie back -Machine wash the removable cushion cover -Made in multiple countries

Love these chairs!!!
"We purchased 8 of these chairs in black along with the Terravida table and we love them! They look great with the table. There was a chip in one of the chairs and C&B came out and delivered a replacement chair with no questions asked. We don't have chair cushions and I do have to warn you that they can be easily scratched. I'd recommend these chairs to anyone who likes the distressed look. They're perfect!"

"The chairs are beautiful, sturdy and just the right size for comfortable sitting. They arrived nicely packaged, 2 to a box with no assembly required. Fantastic Chairs
"I live in a place where there aren't many options for furniture shopping (Alaska). I ordered these online after being lucky enough to visit a Crate and Barrel store to check them out. I was so excited when they came extremely fast, and fully assembled. They are sturdy and I have no doubt they will last a long time. I had planned on ordering dining cushions at some point, but haven't done so yet because they are pretty comfortable as well. I feel like these chairs are a great value for the price. If you need a great dining chair, look no further!"

Sturdy Solid Comfortable Chairs!
"We bought 8 of these chairs to go with our dining table. We knew we didn't want upholstered chairs b/c we have toddler/preschool age kids. We needed something sturdy, solid, kid-friendly and comfortable, as well as simple to contrast with the distressed-finish dark walnut monastery table. These are perfect - simple, sturdy, nice-looking and seem like they will hold up well. Also a huge selling point for us was they come fully assembled. Delivery was prompt and hassle-free. We would definitely recommend. I am considering buying seat cushions for them and making my own cushion covers from oilcloth or laminated cotton, something that would be stylish and kid-friendly."

Lovely chairs
"This is an amazing color. Dark but not slate gray, with a reddish-taupe undercoat that shows through in a distressed manner. I have it mixed with the white distressed that are now discontinued, all with the natural cushions, and it looks great."

Nice Chairs
"These chairs were a nice addition to our home. We purchased them with the Terravida table. The slightly weathered look of these chairs really compliments the reclaimed wood of the table. I always thought I wanted upholstered dining chairs for comfort, but the Village chairs are surprisingly comfortable for a wooden chair. We are so happy with them, we are planning to purchase the matching bench and bar stools."

Excellent Village Grigio chairs
"I am delighted with my two new Village chairs in the new "Grigio" finish. It is a soft warm gray that looks great in my white kitchen.

Chairs and cushions are great
"We bought 8 of these chairs with 8 black cushions. Very sturdy chairs and comfortable. Nice quality cushions. Happy that we bought them from the beginning instead of trying to match with something different. We use the chairs with Basque table and they look nice together. Chairs are made in Italy."
