Tailor Sofa
Classically styled Tailor shows off its contemporary side in a subtle heathery weave of rich peacock blue polyester. Traditional roll-arm frame with modern bench seat cushion scatters five plush cushions across the sheltering back. Tapered hardwood legs are stained a mocha finish. Also stocked in flannel grey. After you place your order, we will send a fabric swatch via next day air for your final approval. Excellent Sofa
"I saw this sofa while walking through Crate and Barrel with my son who was making a rug purchase. The vivid blue color immediately attracted us- it was so unusual and vibrant. We took a seat and it was so comfortable with so many pillows! My elderly parents needed a new small sofa to fit into their new retirement
cottage. I inquired and was told that we could purchase a love seat; however, it would have to be custom made. Well, this one had to be it! Ten weeks later the love seat arrived ,on schedule, and in perfect condition! Previous sight unseen, my parents were thrilled with the purchase and we all decided that it was well worth waiting for! Now I want the same sofa for my own home! Thank you Crate and Barrel for the most excellent sofa!"

"We special ordered this sofa in a linen fabric. It has been one of the best purchases we've made in several years. The classic style, with just a hint of contemporary, gives our home an updated look, while still maintaining a traditional feel. We are very pleased!"

Worst couch EVER
"I cannot BELIEVE people are giving this couch a good review. They must not have had it for more than a couple days. Yes, it's gorgeous. But it has a constant stream of feathers poking through the pillows and the cushion. And they're actual feathers, so they'll poke you and your guests, whether you see them or not. The cushion broke down within a matter of months. I'd fear ever buying another couch from Crate & Barrel, which shocked me, because I'm a huge fan of them otherwise. My house looks like a display window, for the love of god. But honestly....the feathers. It's been a nightmare."

Love, love, love!
"I absolutely love this sofa! I was initially attracted to the amazing peacock color and design of this sofa. When I tried it out in the store I was surprised at how comfortable it was! I tried out all the other sofas in the store and the only other sofa that was as comfortable as this one was the Willow sofa. It's been a couple of months now that I've had this sofa and I couldn't be happier! It is soooo comfortable. I love the single cushion - it makes stretching out on it more comfy than sofas with 2 cushions. I love that I can rearrange the pillows to suit whatever position I'm in. The cushion but firm but squishy at the same time. There are hooks on the sides of the cushion that attach to hooks on the sofa frame to keep it from sliding forward. My only concern is that the fabric has a little sheen to it that dulls if you sit in the same spot all the time. I'm careful to sit on different parts of it to keep it even."

So far so good!
"My husband and I purchased this couch and have had it for 2 weeks. So far, we love it. It is extremely comfortable while still looking stylish and classy. We have another couch from C&B which I call the "man couch" because it's huge and cozy - perfect for watching television and relaxing. I wanted to purchase a couch which we could use in a sitting room providing guests the ability to be comfortable, but not have to sink into a giant couch. This is the perfect happy-medium. I'm a little concerned about how the seat pillow will wear over time as it is one long pillow. And the couch did come delivered to us with a chip in the leg (which C&B has been cooperative and is claiming they will fix this.) Overall, very happy with our purchase thus far."

Lovely to look at, but at the expense of comfort
"I purchased the Tailor in poppy red at a great price because it was being discontinued in that fabric as a stock colour. I'd had my eye on the sofa for a year and always liked it. While it really does look beautiful in my apartment, it has two key design flaws that reduced my rating of it. First, the back cushions tend to collapse very quickly, and in the absence of padding on the sofa back, it makes the sofa pretty uncomfortable. Second, the arms look stunning, but the height is completely impractical and adds to the discomfort - it's near impossible to lean in the corner comfortably, and forget using a side table unless you're at least 7 feet tall. I'm definitely regretting this purchase."

Sophisticated comfort
"I purchased the Tailor sofa in the stocked flannel color, and absolutely love it. Its rolled arms and nailhead detail lend an air of sophistication to my otherwise minimalist home. The down pillows and bench seat cushion are incredibly comfortable, and have held their shape - without feathers leaking or requiring flipping - for the two months that this much used sofa has been in my home. The Tailor sofa competes with sofas twice its costs, in my opinion. Well done, Crate&Barrel!"

Taylor sofa review
"The Taylor sofa is one of the best we have owned (and the most expensive), however the only complaint is that the cushion needs to be flipped every few months because the cover starts to slide towards the front to a point where it appears crooked on the cushion. Flipping the cushion seems to balance it out."

don't buy this sofa
"The quality is very poor. Cushions are supposed to be encased in "down proof" ticking but feathers are coming out constantly. They are all over my living room and are poking out all over the place making the sofa quite uncomfortable to sit on. I just purchased this sofa a few months ago and already feel like I need a new couch. Total waste of money. Very disappointing."
