"These towels are great. They soak up water nicely unlike some other dishtowels that just smear it around. Comes out of washer in prefect condition, they don't get all warped. Love the waffle material, overall, very happy."

pretty colors, but...
"I bought these because I liked the bright, modern colors. I received them yesterday and washed them only to be disappointed. The band on the towels shrinks when you put it in the dryer. This happened on all of the colors. I was able to smooth out the band, but if this was only the first wash what's going to happen after many washes? I guess these will be those towels that you have to throw out after a short while because the band shrinks up and makes the towel ruffle."

Thank you for taking the time to write a product review. We apologize for your experience with the Pintura Dishtowels Set of Five. We want to let you know that the ruffling in the towel after washing is a characteristic of cotton waffle weave and is meant to increase absorbency. To regain the shape of the towel, we suggest gently stretching the towel and ironing on a low setting. The towels are made of pre-shrunk cotton and will not continue to shrink after the first wash. Your feedback is important…and appreciated.
