"For the most part, I like these sheets. Although they are crisp & always wrinkled my major complaint is the amount of shrinkage after placing in the dryer. Fitted bottom sheet is ok; however, the top sheet now only comes down a few inches on each side. Can not do a "hospital corner" let alone tuck it in if wasn't for a blanket. Disappointing."
"These sheets do look beautiful until you wash them. Then they look like you bought them for $20.00. Even ironing doesn't help. Very disappointed, considering the price. Thought I was really treating myself to a great set of sheets. Do not buy them!"
"These are beautiful sheets however the real reason I would not recommend these is that unless it's the wrinkled look you are going for you are in for a lot of ironing. I decided to keep them since they do look great on my bed but every time I wash them I make sure I have enough time to iron the pillowcases and top sheet. In addition I have used liquid and sheet fabric softener, it hasn't helped."
"I bought these sheets as well as a duvet cover 2 years ago. The sheets never softened and are always wrinkled. Last month I awoke to my foot entangled in the bottom fitted sheet. It had shredded. These were not comfortable sheets. Disappointing."

You get what you pay for
"Fine sheets are a long-term investment. My daughter uses these in her guest bedroom where I stay often. They are pure heaven though she has had them for years.
These sheets are both soft and durable and only seem to get better with age. A good sheet set will last many years, even decades, so what's the difference if you pay a little more up front?
"Beautiful design but I have to agree with this review:
"the cotton is very crisp and I prefer softer sheets. I know that is a personal preference, but wouldn't have bought them if I knew they were so crisp. They haven't softened up after many washes either.""
"This sheet set is beautiful and of good quality. We have them for over a year now and the colors are still good. It gives a lot of warmth to the room. We bought the queen size then but we plan to buy the same one in king size too!"
"We love the color and fit. However, like others have mentioned, the fact that it's so wrinkly after its been washed makes it not worth it at all.
This was our first bed set from C&B. The second set was much better -- wrinkle free and all because it was cotton sateen, not 100% cotton. Definitely learned our lesson. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone unless they have time to iron the sheets!"
"I just washed our king size Sakura sheets and got mad all over again, and that's why I'm writing this review. The design is absolutely gorgeous. As other reviewers have mentioned, the sheets are all deep-set wrinkles when they come out of the wash and I don't have time to iron them. I haven't tried the permanent press setting on the washing machine, maybe that would help. The flat sheet can also just barely be tucked in on both sides and after one night of sleep, it's only tucked in at the bottom (I do find the length to be fine, it's the width that is way too short). Also, the cotton is very crisp and I prefer softer sheets. I know that is a personal preference, but wouldn't have bought them if I knew they were so crisp. They haven't softened up after many washes either. I registered for and received these sheets as a wedding gift. I would have been furious if I had paid that amount of money for them. I will be very hesitant to buy Crate & Barrel sheets again."
"It is a very pretty pattern and sheet are nice. I bought this for my mother's room. I have a full size bed for her and bought Full/Queen coverlet. She does not like the fact that the full size flat sheet does not match up with F/Q coverelet. She asked me to buy her a queen size flat sheet. However, the flat sheets are not sold separately so I will have to buy the entire queen size set just to get a flat sheet. I feel that is a waste since I do not need the other pieces."
"My husband and I received these sheets in king size for our wedding, and we absolutely love them! They are soft, wash beautifully, keeping their color and shape. We have had them for 2 years now and they still look and feel fantastic!"
"I am very pleased with these sheets. The colors are a bit brighter than they appear, and the design very crisp. The sheets are soft and the size is ample. This is the first bed linen purchase from Crate and Barrel and I wouldn't hesitate to purchase again, for myself or as a gift."
"We purchased the duvet cover, shams and sheets for our guest bedroom. Absolutely love them. They are beautiful and very comfortable. I must warn, however, that the sheets wrinkle terribly. Unfortunately, I have ended up ironing them many times because of the extreme number of wrinkles. Nevertheless, I love the way they look and feel on the bed."
"These sheets are not only gorgeous but they are very comfortable as well. I was thrilled to learn that they are the only pair of sheets I own that are the proper width to fit on top of my xtra thick mattress, so no worrying about your sheets riding up."
"My fiance and I bought these sheets for our guest room and we absolutely love them! They are simple and relaxing and most importantly soft and comfortable. They completed the look we were going for perfectly! I would recommend these sheets!"
