With the rise in home canning and preserving, it's only natural we'd revisit these German classics-keeping it fresh since 1900. Unlike other canning jars, Wecks feature an open tapered shape that's easier to fill and empty, rust-free glass lids (no can opener required), and sealing gaskets that are easy to check at a glance. Perfect for presentation
"Bought three cases of the 10 oz. jars, filled them with chocolate espresso sauce, and gave as gifts. They looked fabulous (and the sauce was yummy!). Perfect storage, stack well, look great, and are safe for microwaving--with none of the concerns of plastic."

Great storage
"I give my adult kids homemade soup and they will take it for lunch. I like to store individual portions in my own fridge and they stack nicely. I love the seal and nice wide mouth of the jar for eating right out of the container. I have not canned with these yet but plan to this summer. Drawback You have to keep track of the clips which can easily get lost."

Very versatile
"I have purchased these jars in several sizes and gave been so pleased! I use them from storage to canning to packing a lunch! They are awesome and never leak so get rid of that plastic and go with glass!! It's better for you and the environment and also looks so much nicer."

Best Yogurt Storage
"Love the whole Weck Line! These are the perfect size for storing my home made yogurt. I make a full gallon of milk at a time and fill 8 of these jars, they stack conveniently, I can add various fruits and sweetners to meet the individual dietary needs of my family! Great Product!"

High Quality & Versatile
"I bought these canning jars for Christmas presents. I made Nutella and jams and presented in these Weck jars with beautiful twine and tags. They looked very professional. My gift recipients must have liked the jars too, because they didn't get returned!"

Use for storage
"I take soup to work and these are just perfect. When I make up soup on the weekend and put into these jars, it creates its own vacuum making me confident it won't spill in my lunch bag. I love these and can't wait to try canning with them this spring."

"this is my third order of Weck jars, I love them. This order was mostly for gifts and replacement rings and clips. I highly recomend them. They stack well, they are perfect for lunch. "I bought the Weck style canning jars as an alternative to ball jars, which require new lids after each use. They also nest together very well, saving valuable storage space. The only negative of Weck jars is learning how to can with these jars; as most canning referances are gearded toward ball type jars. And a couple of the jars I received were cracked but that was probably just the byproduct of poor handling by the shipper; as crate & barrel packages there products very well. An additional plus is how attractive these jars are. They would be great for display or used as flower vases."

Kefir, Food Storage and Lunches
"I purchased one each of the 10-oz and 26-oz jars to try them before buying more. I've found that the 26-oz size is now my favorite jar for making kefir. The glass lid, wide mouth and not-too-deep height, make it easy and enjoyable to work with and to wash in the dishwasher. For making kefir, I just place the glass lid on the jar without the gasket or clips. The 10-oz size is perfect for my husband to bring yogurt in his lunch to work. I also like the 10-oz size for easy refrigerator storage of left-overs. Again, I just place the glass lid on the jar without the gasket or clips for this purpose. The lids are recessed, so will stack nicely. I plan to order more soon."

Canning jars with glass lids
"I ordered the 9 ounce and 18 ounce canning jars with glass lids to use in the microwave. I love the fact that I can heat my soup with a glass lid and not a piece of plastic wrap. Of course I do not use the gasket or clips when I use the microwave but they are an added bonus when I take my homemade soup to work to heat up in the microwave. I love my canning jars - I highly recommend them for everyday use in addition to canning!"

needs a little improvement
"These Weck canning jar seals work but are so flimsy they are hard to keep in place whild putting the lids on the jars. I have tried several methods but still worryh because I am worried that the jars will not seal. These seals need to be a little firmer."

"I love my WECK canning jars. The food is easily seen and looks delicious. The only drawback is placing the seals on and keeping them in place while placing the lid on the jar. I would definitely recommend thes jars."
