Good Buy, Visually Appealing, and Luxuriously Soft

"I purchased this rug for our oft-used family room. We have two children, so a cushion for the hardwood floors was imperative, as well as the capacity for any rug to withstand and hide stains. The construction of the stitching is good - I'm not worried about frayed edges. The gold/brown color of this rug is visually appealing, and also hides stains well. Our two-year old loves how "cushy" the rug feels and it is in fact very soft. It makes it pleasant to sit on the floor. I purchased a thicker 5x8 rug pad at a local home improvement store, and it holds the rug well and provides additional cushion. We used the handheld attachment to the vacuum to clean it - the rotary bristles will likely damage the shag, although we haven't tried that yet. Strongly recommend this product."
