"This was way too small. Basically the size of a regular spoon. Not sure why they called it a ladle."

pretty, sturdy, but scratches easily

"I own the buffet server, spoon, and slotted spoon. all pieces look and feel very nice. I love using them, makes me feel classy. However I've found after only a year and a half of usage they tend to get ugly little scratches on the back of the piece where it scrapes across a serving bowl. Maybe all serving pieces do this?"

"These are so lovely. They are too large, I was actually kind of surprised when I took them out of the box. They dress up anything you use them with--much nicer than any plastic alternative I've had in the past. I can't recommend them enough."

Love every single piece!
"We own multiple of each piece and we absolutely love them. Great price, great quality. We use them for both formal and casual occasions (with different flatware and dinnerware), and they work well in both settings. We had considered going with a more expensive set, but are sure glad we didn't."

Nice Rounded & Shaped Handles
"We got the slotted spoon, regular spoon & fork. Very sleek, heavy weight serving pieces. Great size - not too long for placing inside a bowl of food & big enough to get a good size serving. The fork shape is more useful for me than some other fork servers. The tips seem sharp enough to hold meat, large vegetable pieces,etc. which adds to its versatility."

"The reason I gave them 4 out of 5 stars is because I don't like the mirror finish on them because of the fingerprints show up more. This is a personal preference. I am happy I have them because our flatware set didn't have the option of a hostess set. I got more than one of the forks and both spoons. Very practical! Goes with really anything."

"When my husband and I got married about a year ago, we registered for beautiful stainless steel flatware...and neglected to purchase matching serving pieces. When we found these at Crate & Barrel, we were thrilled. They are nearly a perfect match for our flatware, and they are MUCH more affordable.
