Marimekko Ginkgo Full/Queen Duvet Cover
Captivated by the majestic ginkgo or maidenhair tree while in New York and Tokyo, designer Kristina Isola immortalized its iconic, fan-shaped leaf in this 2008 design. Often living to 1,000 years, the ginkgo's timeless elegance is captured here in in Ginkgo's large-scale pattern which complements its smaller-scale companion named Biloba. Duvet cover reverses to self, with hidden button closure at bottom and interior fabric ties to hold the insert in place. Duvet inserts also available. -100% cotton sateen -300-thread-count -Machine wash cold -Made in Pakistan

"I hate to write a bad review, but based on my experience I feel that I must. This is my first time purchasing bedding from Crate&Barrel and I am extremely disappointed. I bought not only the duvet cover, but the matching shams and sheet set when they were still available. I washed everything prior to putting them on my bed and I followed the washing instructions very closely - making sure to check the individual labels. Everything came out nicely except the duvet cover (which I washed last). It was a wrinkled mess and as I straightened the cover I noticed snags all over the top! I flipped the cover over and there were snags on the underside too. I double-checked my front-load washer & dryer and I didn't feel any object that could have done this; I even washed the duvet last so if there were something in my machines it surely would have snagged up the sheet set and shams as well. I made a call to customer service and the woman told me they would send me a new one if mine was deemed 'defective' once sent back. I'm hoping this was just a fluke but I am very nervous about washing this set again. I love how vibrant the colors are but I feel the quality of this is terrible. This will be the last time I buy bedding from C&B."

Beautiful and....Huge
"The cover is beautiful and well-made, but it's HUGE compared to my other queen duvet covers. None of my queen sized duvet inserts fit. Where can I find a duvet insert that can fill up this duvet cover?"

Stunning!
"I've been looking for a bed linen set with these colors for a long time. Suddenly, here they were! The colors are exactly as depicted and the fabric is soft and of good quality. The ginkgo pattern is very unusual and perfect for me, having always been one of my favorite trees! I will be sure to wash as instructed in cold water, not to lose any of the vibrant color.
My only suggestion for future duvets would be a heavier fabric with a little more body and more interfacing in the edges of the shams, for example, to help them retain their crispness!
Overall, very nice product! Lovely."

"Our guestroom looks out on a forest of dark, old trees that barely allow for more than a bit of sunshine. I bought the Gingko Duvet Cover and Shams to spruce up that room for overseas visitors. The cheery covers have changed the room, adding sunshine The quality feels silky-soft, and washing has softened the texture even more. Thanks for the good feeling... Hanni"

Love it
"I love my new duvet cover. It's exactly what it looks like in the photo but better because I can feel how soft the material is. I've always loved crate and barrels things so I wasn't nervous about ordering it online. I knew that if I liked what it looked like online, I would love it in person because the quality is always good."

Fantastic Purchase!
"I noticed this set 5 months ago while visiting Tampa. Unfortunately there are no C&B stores where I live. I thought the colors and pattern were outstanding. After I purchased a new bedroom set, I couldn't locate any sheets or duvets that were different. I went online and there they were capturing my attention once again. I ordered the queen size sheets, 3 shams and the duvet. I was totally shocked to see the prices! The shams that were $39.95 were now only $4.95 each! I was ecstatic. When they arrived at my home, I fell in love with the stunning pattern and colors all over again! They brighten my master suite and I am totally in love with them! What a value for a phenomenal product! Love, Love, Love them!"

Marimekko The Magnificent!
"I ordered this online for store pickup at the Clarendon location and I couldn't be happier with the product. It has the flexibility to be lightweight enough for the spring/summer months without the insert and warm and toasty for the fall/winter months. The colors and leaf patterns are so bold and clear that you will almost want to get out your leaf rake! LOL! The material is soft and luxurious. It's reversibile and fits easily into the washing machine and dryer. Once again, I can't express how stunning the colors/patterns are and it folds nicely to fit in your linen closet or on a closet shelf when folded back into its plastic case. I couldn't be more pleased with this product. The only con is that it makes you reluctant to climb out of bed every day!"

Perfect
"This is simple beauty. One can talk of the quality of the material, the thread count, a smooth silky cotton that shimmers in light. The deep color that is not printed but through and through. Yet, all that would miss a point, the actual experience of having this duvet on your bed. This textile is beautiful, beyond any context one would expect for a simple bed covering."
