"I had to add this book to my cookbook collection because of the super cute way it's put together. The colors, the photography, the type, everything is beautiful to look at. After trying two of the recipes I can say that this book also produces delicious cupcakes. The lemon tea cakes are light and fresh, the chocolate cake balls are rich and decadent; both turned out famously. Because the photographs are so vivid and stylish, I only wish they were included for each recipe instead of for only about 1/3 of them."
"Not your average cupcake recipes. Using figs, spices and other off the beaten path ingredients is what makes this book fun. Of course there are the classics that we all crave and love but this book makes you really want to branch out and try different flavors too!"
