Taking design cues from both mid-century sculpture and forms found in nature, the tri-legged Cleo lamp has a striking, artful presence. Solid brass base is lightly lacquered to a soft, matte sheen and topped with a crisp double-lined linen/cotton drum shade in warm ivory. -Solid brass -Lightly lacquered matte finish -Linen-cotton shade -Brass finial -On/off switch -CFL included (requires up to 23W CFL or 100W incandescent bulb) -Made in India Note: This item is UL-Listed and manufactured in compliance with U.S. standards. Perfect lamp
"Waited for 2 years to get these lamps, and it was worth the wait. They are very sturdy and heavy, and the color is so chic. Bought 2 for my living room, and my decor is industrial-rustic-modern and they go perfect, almost mimic antlers."

Beautiful light
"This lamp is gorgeous and gives off a beautiful soft glow that is still very bright. It's larger than I expected and has a big footprint, but it is gorgeous. The lampshade is well-made and the base is sturdy and heavy. Great purchase!"

Perfection
"I got two of these for my bedroom and love them. These lamps go great with any furniture style. My bedroom is actually decorated with Scandinavian furniture and some modern items, all clean and squared lines. These suit perfectly. Great lighting, easy to clean, great design. Oh! and they're HEAVY! makes it perfect when you have pets or kids that may make your home shake from time to time :)"

Elegant lamp
"We purchased this lamp to sit on the Marin Console table, and it works perfectly. The lamp is lovely and the two pieces look great together. As another reviewer noted, the felt pieces on the bottom of the lamp do not provide enough coverage to protect the table the lamp sits on (it is a heavy lamp, made of metal). We added our own additional felts to avoid scratching our new table. A lovely piece, which adds a nice dimension to the room with its curved base. Recommended!"

"A handsome, sculptural base. Substantial heft -- this is a well-made piece with just the right amount of sheen to highlight the variations in the brass tones. I bought this to go on the black 58" Spotlight desk after seeing them together in a photo. Very cool lamp. A splurge for me, but worth it for the quality and artistic presence."

Lamp as Sculpture
"The Cleo Lamp is a wonderful example of functional art. The sculptural lines of this lamp are reminiscent of mid century modern sculpture, yet works well with an eclectic mix of contemporary furniture. The solid brass base is well made and any small flaws in the matte finish add to the handmade feeling of the lamp. As an artist I take visual pleasure each time I look at it in my dining room. I like it so much I bought a second one for my living room when I couldn't find another lamp I liked as well. It is definitely unique and a good value. I know I will have these lamps for a very long time."

Stunning With Flaws
"This is a modern beauty which looked great in our living room next to our couch. The shade gives a warm glow and the base is solid. My only complaint is that when you view the base up close, there are various imperfections in the coating which cannot be buffed out. One of the felt feet didn't cover and the base of the lamp scratched the heck out of our side table. We ultimately returned the lamp as for the price, we were expecting more."

Lovely MCM Style Lamp
"This lamp has a great color, is very heavy, and has a great midcentury modern shape. I would take issue with the description of "soft matte sheen." The finish is shiny, and almost has a plastic look. The shade is a great color, and I really like the finial. Looks great in our 50s ranch house."

Great product, but damaged in shipping
"I bought 2 of these lamps & they're great -- heavyweight, chic, stylish. My only complaint is that they are difficult to ship undamaged. These were shipped separately & packed/protected/wrapped to within an inch of their lives, & yet they both suffered the same fate: the socket where you screw the bulb in was bent. On one, i was able to straighten it, but the other I had to bring to a repair shop b/c it broke when I tried to straighten it. It would have been way too much trouble to re-pack it & ship it back, and the lamps themselves are great."

Cleo Lamp
"This is a gorgeous lamp -- it feels and looks very substantial and the quality is superior. It's an elegant piece that would definitely look good with contemporary /mid-century decor, yet also blends well with the more classic/ traditional style in my house and provides a unique focal point in the room. The color is a soft goldish/brass color. Love it."
