Great When Used Appropriately

"I purchased the grill grate system and the cast iron griddle to use with my Weber Performer Grill purchased several years ago. Like the Weber, the griddle works great - especially for fish, which can be hard to cook on a standard grill grate. I tried to use it to cook carne asada however, and the marinade of the meat combined with the intense heat of the grill made cleaning the griddle after use extremely difficult. I suggest short cooking times with lightly marinaded foods."
