"My daughter has had a bamboo banana hanger for years and turned her hometown upside-down looking for a second one to give me. Ironic -- I was shopping C&B online for her Christmas gift when, lo and behold, I saw a hanger just like hers. Merry Christmas to me, too! I'm amazed how much longer bananas last when they're hung instead of laid down. Much less bruising!"

Super pumped!

"This is one of those weird, little kitchen tools that one could barely give a second mind to, and yet I am shamelessly admitting that I cheered out loud, when I finally received it. I have wanted it for so long! Surprisingly, storage for bananas became a pretty personal journey and finding something whose looks, size, materials and general quality, I liked, was very hard to come by- not a lot of them out there! So props to Crate and Barrel for carrying one at all, let alone a sturdy, attractive model. My bananas are so happy."

Jumbo Bananas or Small Hanger?

"I love the idea of a banana hanger, but it seems that this hanger is too short for the bananas we purchase, so they never really hang but simply "lay" vertically. I have found slightly smaller bananas, but they still end up touching at the bottom."

Simply awesome

"I love this thing! My boyfriend and I just bought it for our first apartment together, and it keeps our bananas nice and "bruise-free." Perfect for grabbing a piece of fruit on the way out the door! It doesn't tip over or get weighed down, and the bamboo is lovely."
