Great Ottoman

"I bought this ottoman about a year ago. Not this particular color. It's a bright orange. Not sure they still have that available. Anyway, the leather is VERY soft and silky smooth. My fireplace is flanked by 2 chairs that I also purchased from Crate and Barrel. I put this ottoman about 7 feet in front of the fireplace. This completes the whole space because my guests walk into my house, and that's the first thing they see. The fireplace, the chairs, a small coffee table, and this ottoman (closest to the door). The ottoman provides just the right pop of color in an otherwise rather neutral palette. This ottoman is pretty big so it works well as an additional seating without blocking the view of the fireplace. Very comfy. The legs lend a very modern feel to the ottoman. Very sleek. Like other reviewers have said, it's very light so you can move it around where it's needed when you have more guests. Great buy.
The only caveat when buying this piece is making sure your space is big enough; otherwise it may not be appropriate for a small space."

Size is fabulous

"This is a larger than average ottoman. We often use it as additional seatin. It is surprisinlynlight to pick up! I love the slim line of the legs. It is fabulous!"

Mid-Century Fantastic!

"I ordered this ottoman in Notting Hill Copper to match the chair we already had. I was a bit worried that the colors wouldn't match exactly, but I was wrong. They match fine. The only issue that I have is that the ottoman seems overstuffed compared to the chair because of course the chair has been used. So, we just need to start using the ottoman more and they'll match a little better. I absolutely love the entire Petrie line and literally smile when I walk in my house and see this bright orange Petrie chair and ottoman set. I love it! Aside from looking good, the chair and ottoman are extremely comfortable. A great place to watch TV or read a book. The leather is also extremely soft. It does have a tendency to scratch, but we take pretty good care of our furniture, so that isn't really too much of an issue for us."
