timeless design
"My mother bought this for me as a high school graduation gift back in 1973....I still have it and use it...it is somewhat faded but still has it's shape....there have been years I put it up only to rediscover it and use it once again....
To me it seems like the precursor to the bike messenger bags that have been so popular....
A timeless, incredibly useful, simple and beautiful piece.....such as all good design...
I can't think of any higher praise....
Mine is in black...perhaps the red would be nice to have too!!! ;)"

Best Bag Ever
"I bought this bag in red about 2 years ago and use it daily (I also ended up getting the one bigger too!). It has served as a diaper bag, over night bag, and of course my everyday purse. The strap is long enough to wear across my body, which is a must for me! I have put it in the washer and had it dry cleaned and both methods made it look like new. Now having seen the yellow, I may have to get another!"
