Love this set!!
"I purchased a few pieces last year of the green and had to go back to get the rest of the set and add accent pieces (pasta bowls, serving bowl and appetizer plates) in the yellow. The colors go nicely with my new kitchen. I am addicted to this store!!"

Lovely dishes
"We opted to get new everyday dishes as opposed to formal china and these were the pick. They are very attractive dishes but they will chip if handled too roughly. (We also had one that began to peel but as always, C&B customer service was wonderful and they replaced it immediately.)"

great plates
"I am very happy with these dinner plates. I bought a combination of the gold and green and they look great together on my table. Love the size, not too big or too small. Been using for about a month, no chips...even with teenagers. Glad I purchased them!"

"Like many reviewers I kept coming back to this set. I don't know why I waited so long. Good looking, durable, fit in the dishwasher and pop in the microwave. What else could you ask for. "I bought these dishes last year and just love them. I bought in the green. The color works very well with others colors and works great with my kitchen! "Absolutely beautiful! Looks like handmade pottery. I'm picky about my dinnerware from size of plates to design of 'cereal bowl'. I searched for months and could not be more pleased. Price was a bargain for the unique styling and quality of these pieces. The hardest decision shouldn't be do I buy......but deciding the color!"

Excellent Quality & Design
"Pictures do not do justice to this lovely dinnerware with its graceful fluidity and clean, muted color. What I look for in casual china is the finish and quality of glazing. These get 5 stars for each. The artisan shaped design and surface are a delight. They stand out from the normal machine stamped dinnerware and give a feeling of being something very individualistic and unique. The soft fluidity of each piece just asks to be touched. I've matched mine with Marimeko napkins that have accent colors in the same soft green and brushed stainless silverware. Such a warm, welcoming table to sit down and enjoy with friends. Excellent quality, so well made with a perfect glazing. Can't go wrong with these beautiful pieces."

Love my new Marin Dinnerware
"I have been looking for solid colored dinnerware for the past two years. I kept returning to Crate and Barrel's Marin dinnerware and loved the green color. Made a trip to Indianapolis and bought a bowl to help make my decision. Love the shape of the pieces and purchased 8 place settings plus the pasta bowls, the serving bowl, and the platter. I'm very happy with my purchase. They arrived promptly and the packaging was excellent. Would highly recommend."

Beautiful and unique
"We just ordered these in the green and yellow (4 place settings of each) and we love them! They are replacing our 16+ year old crate & barrel dishes from our wedding which lasted surprisingly well. So I'm hoping we get the same out of these. They are made to look hand made, but are very sturdy. I also like that they have a lead-free glaze which is hard to find! The quality is great and the colors are beautiful. Each plate is deep - almost like a very shallow bowl. But they still fit easily into our dishwasher. They have withstood the microwave, too! Also - all 8 place settings arrived perfectly packed and we didn't have one broken dish."

Just try a piece
"I Initially bought six mugs because I liked the look. The size and feel were perfect, but I went back and purchased six appetizer plates as well. In using the mugs, people were reluctant to sit them on the table without coasters, and if we were drinking tea, there was no place for the teabags. The appetizer plates were the perfect answer.
The cups are beautiful and I am considering purchasing the dinner and salad plates as well (I like using salad plates as dessert and buffet plates). While the bowls are beautiful, I would probably rather use the low pasta bowls for cereal, salads and pasta."
