Great Everyday Bowls
"These bowls are great for every day. I did not ice that a few of them have chipped in the dishwasher, though, so I recommend hand washing them. We use them for pasta and salad constantly and for serving bowls when we have a small group over for a meal. Great price for something we use all the time!"

Great Soup Bowl
"I needed a big soup bowl to use for my Vietnamese Soup Pho which requires noodles, veggies and meat. This bowl was perfect. Now I can make all the other great soups like Thai noodle curry dishes, Hu Tieu etc."

Filling !!!
"These bistro bowls were unbelievable. Every Christmas Eve due to church services, I am not able to put out an elaborate dinner afterwards, so I decided several yeas to go make an awesome ox tail stew for everyone. These bowls were a great size to pile on the rice with the stew on top. The stew has potatoes, carrots, celery, cabbage, and tomatoes. It is quite hearty and filling making this perfect size to pile it all on."

Fabulous
"Bought four and want more! The only thing is that two of the bowls did not sit levelly on our glass table, so,we had to go the store and exchange. The store staff was incredible in Durham. I now feel like I will go there or web site for all my houseware needs. Phone service from CB is also exemplary. Why have not been shopping here forever?"

Great bowls
"Bought these to replace an earlier C&B porcelain pasta bowl that broke. These bowls are very thick, but still fairly light. As a result, they are better at resisting heat transfer and particularly good for serving hot soups."

"We decided to get rid of all our odds and ends of
everyday china and get something timeless and white that would be enough for our growing family. We are
expecting our 7th grandchild, and needed more than
12 place settings. This purchase represents about
6 orders of this pottery. Your customer service is
fantastic! for every broken or chipped piece, they
often sent us 4 more. That is amazing! We have

practical functional bowls
"The bowls I ordered were packaged and protected very well and all came intact. These bowls are perfect in size for any purpose: cereal, soup, pasta, even as serving bowls. Our previous bowls had a decorative but flat edge which always limited the quantity and caused spills. Love these sized bowls and they have replaced all of our previous pasta and separate cereal bowls."

not round, varied thickness
"I have the smaller Bistro bowls, love them, and wanted these to match. As I was buying them, two SAs warned me that they tend to shatter when being put in the dishwasher. Then I got them home and, as I ran a sponge around them, I discovered they weren't round. Not just slightly, but visibly and tangibly. Just enough to irritate my eyes, but not enough to be deliberately asymmetrical. Once my imperfection ears were perked, I also noticed that some were a lot thinner than others. When I returned them, a third SA told me that -- in her experience -- they're all like that. I hope not. But inspect before you buy, especially at The Grove in LA."

Best Bowel Ever
"These bowels are fabulous. I use them every day as my salad/vegetable bowel. I chose the eight ounce because it will inspire me to serve myself larger portions of all types of vegetables. In addtion, this size is also excellent for full meal salads."

Perfect little bowls
"I purchased these as replacements to chipped soup bowls I had been given as a gift from another store. I love C&B quality - these bowls go well with my other bone china every day dishes from C&B and are the perfect size for a bowl of cereal or a bowl of soup. I like them for my kids' meals as well, you can put a little food in there and it does not look like a measly portion thanks to the size of the bowl. They stack nicely and are useful for so many things, I find myself reaching for them several times throughout the day - from using during cooking prep to eating. They stack well in the dishwasher as well - which is more than I can say for some other bowls (narrow and deep) that I have. I will likely come back to purchase the larger size of these bowls as well."

Loved These Bowls!
"We had 7 people over for "Japanese tacos" two nights ago, and the bowls were perfect! Each one built their own taco in a bowl starting with rice then adding meat sauce and all the regular taco toppings. And nothing spilled out because of the bowls' shape and size. The bowls made it a fun, and beautiful, way to share a meal with friends!"

Great Bowls
"These bowls are the perfect size for a meal sized salad, or for pasta. They are sturdy and the sides are high enough that the lettuce doesn't fall out of the bowl when you are trying to eat the contents. I bought two and am thinking of getting more to serve pasta when entertaining."
