Great Structural Integrity
"I purchased this bed on sale and with free furniture delivery, but would have purchased it at full retail price.
This bed is very solid and very heavy. Moving it across carpet almost requires two people."

A Beautiful Piece of Furniture
"I bought this bed to serve as my primary place to sleep. While I haven't yet slept in the bed, because the room isn't yet completed, the bed looks absolutely amazing in the space!
I have very high ceilings, which is why I selected the bed. I like how the posts take advantage of the ceiling's height.
I have both a traditional box spring and mattress on the frame, so the bed sits high, which is great. However, you can see the box springs at the front of the bed. But that's nothing a bench or duster can't cover.
I plan to take advantage of the canopy and buy some fabric to toss across the top to create a romantic look.
The bed is also so very sturdy! I tried to push it to see if I could move it over a couple of inches and it's as if the bed is nailed to the floor. It's not budging!
I only wish I'd watched the gentlemen as they put it together, because I have no idea how to take the bed down should the need arise."

Elegant
"I have to admit that I have always a four poster type bed but I though it would be too traditional or stuffy looking. This bed is beautiful, contemporary, solid with a really great color that easily matched some of my other pieces. I do wish it was made to accommodate both the box spring and mattress because I am a fan of using both!"

No looking back!
"I loved this bed as soon as I saw it, but I was concerned that it would overwhelm my fairly small bedroom. After shopping around with no luck, I decided to just give it a try, and I'm so glad I did! It is bold, classic, and clean. The customer service and delivery were great, and I'd do it all over again."

Clean, Classic, Timeless!
"I spent months looking for a queen-size black bed and kept coming back to the Pavillion Bed and here's why: it's a true EBONY black, it's lines are classic and clean - meant to be dressed up or down - but really it's just stunning!
I am 47 years old and can honestly say this is the first time in my life I feel like I made an "investment" in my furniture purchase - my Crate and Barrel experience was seamless, friendly and totally professional from start to finish and beyond!
Trust me when I say, if you're contemplating this gorgeous bed as a purchase DO IT because you won't regret it - my bed continues to take my breath away every time I open my bedroom door......thank you CB!"

"I absolutely love canopy beds. This bed frame is stylish and modern looking, a perfect addition to your bedroom The color is can easily match bedroom furniture sets. Although I usually go for the vintage look, I think this bed frame would be easier to find furniture that matches well."

Beautiful Bed
"We love our new bed. The finish is just as we expected from the description and picture and the construction is extremely solid - also very heavy, just FYI. Crate and Barrel delivery personnel were courteous, careful and accommodating in setting up the bed. Even though it states that the bed will only work with a single mattress, we used both our sleep comfort bottom platform as well as our mattress. It is a bit higher, but it does not detract from the sleek, substantial headboard. We are completely thrilled with our purchase."
