"I bought this wok a while back after reading the great reviews and really looking forward to using it. I just tried it for the first time a few minutes ago, and as it was heating up, the entire wok made a "whoomp" noise and the light went out on the dial. It will now not turn on. I have checked the plug with other appliances and reset the ground fault interrupter. However, it still will not turn on or heat up.
Greatly disappointed."

"Good product, it works well, however be very careful on the knob under the wok that you turn to seperate the base from the wok. The washer can easily seperate and getting it back on is miserable. Other than that, it seems to be pretty good!"

"This is the second electric wok I have owned and I love this one! The wok is well-made, easy to use, and the sturdy non-stick surface means you don't have to use much oil. It detaches from the base very easy for cleaning. I recommend it for anyone who likes stir-fry!"

"I purchased this wonderful wok for husband after the first of the year, our New Year's resolution to eat healthier, with the goal of loosing a few unnecessary pounds. It far exceeded our expectations, great presentation for entertaining guests, clean up a breeze, besides cooking up great dishes such as stir frye's, fried rice or chinese chicken dishes, not to mention our own creations, this wok makes great fluffy scrambled eggs, and good for warming up flour tortilla's. We find we use it for a majority of our meals. Absolutely love the versatility of it. Best of all husband has pretty much taken over the cooking responsibilities."

"Woks in general are a great versatile tool to have in the kitchen (you can use them not just for stir fry!!) but the Breville Wok is nothing short of amazing. We have gone through 2 lower-end electric models in the past 5 years and this one is worth the extra money. It heats up exceptionally fast, its nonstick surface is actually nonstick! So easy to clean and condition and having a removable base allows for easier cleaning and is much easier/less bulky to store. I love it and would recommend it to anyone as a must have appliance for kitchens large and small but especially for city apartments where grilling etc may not be feasible."
