"This is a nice looking colander, but for some reason water tends to collect in the bottom when i'm rinsing lettuce or other vegetables, even though there are holes on the bottom. Maybe the design encourages the water to form some sort of seal along the bottom holes? Not sure."

"I love the look of this colander, but in practical application, I thought it was just ok. I find the holes too large for small pasta. Also, there are not enough holes on the bottom of the bowl, so I've found the water doesn't drain completely which defeats the purpose."
